Way to go Oliver Anthony! It is about time that someone is a uniting figure. He clearly thinks of the little guy in America and the world. I even got to see a Russian respond to his song and she was clearly moved to tears and related to it. So he is crossing more than party lines even boarders. From my heart of hearts and deep within my soul, I’m part of this man! This guy NAILS IT with not only “Rich men north of Richmond”, but with his other song/lyrics as well. I pray to God that he keeps the forward momentum and God grants continued success in his ability to touch more and more people daily! This is just about the only single song that touched my soul as this one song did! How one man can speak for millions in 3+ minutes is nothing short of a miracle! I don't get it. What's so good about his song? This song doesn't say much except to whine about things. Doesn't surprise me. Take any stance, red or blue, and half the country will hate you. So I'm uncertain which side he's on because his song doesn't say much except to whine. It ain't gonna change nothing. The whole system is inept and corrupt, on both sides. Democracy is designed to get as little done with as much effort as possible. It was fine when we were at the top of the world and we could make money creating wars everywhere. But now we're stretched too thin and the rest of the world has gotten stronger so it'll be harder to start a profitable war. We just need to crank-up our propaganda machine and get another little war started. Ukraine was profitable while it lasted. Who should we target next? China? That one might be too risky. India? No, that's democratic so it'll be harder to demonized. We need to find a country with either a mean dictator or some rebels we can arm and train. I'll take suggestions.

The reason why this song struck a chord with so many peiople is because this song is authentic.. There is no fakeness or pretentiousness about it, its the cry of a soul in pain if you will, and it resonated with many people who are suffering as a result of todays world chaos.

This song makes me want to help in any way I can to help the people to take their homeland back. When I was a kid (80s), living in eastern Europe socialist country, America was seen among us as an example what a free country of free people should be. We wanted to live as free people in our country, to enjoy all freedoms like Americans did. I believe the whole world looked up to America in the same way. It's so sad to see what America (and the world) has come to. I pray that we rise and take what's ours. God bless us all so we do it NOW!

What's so powerful about his lyrics? This song doesn't say much except to whine about things. Doesn't surprise me. Take any stance, red or blue, and half the country will hate you. So l'm uncertain which side he's on because his song doesn't say much except to whine. His lyrics ain't gonna change nothing. The whole system is inept and corrupt, on both sides. Democracy is designed to get as little done as possible with as much effort as possible. It was fine when we were at the top of the world and we could make money creating wars everywhere. But now we're stretched too thin and the rest of the world has gotten stronger so it'll be harder to start a profitable war. We just need to crank-up our propaganda machine and get another little war started. Ukraine was profitable while it lasted. Who should we target next? China? That one might be too risky. India? No, that's democratic so it'll be harder to demonized. We need to find a weak country with a dictator or some rebels we can arm and train. I'll take suggestions.

The world we live in today. The song hits home for me and my daughter. She loves hearing the song and she'll even with hearing it on the phone. Sing along with Anthony and well. When her allergies aint acting up, her voice sounds really good. But most of the time cause of whether it be ragweed or some kind of weed or pollen or something, usually irritates her allergies like Something fierce, so sometimes her voice sounds reallineasily. Cadillac dawn McLean, you know that folk singer from back in the 60s and 70s. That's just sometimes how her voice sounds like from time to time. Especially when the adult dander dust as well as Mold messes with her sanices andoes, she wants app not feeling good at all, so anywho I. That's what I want to say that she loves the song. When my daughter was 3 years old when she had chicken pox. Real bad, my wife was sick in the hospital. And my boss wanted me to come into work. I brought my daughter with me to show my boss that she was sick. She had chicken pox and I wasn't fibbing about it and that. It's not like I could have my daughter there. Because you know, chicken pox in the food service place is not a good thing, it's a health hazard. Long and short of it, my boss wanted me to comment to work and well simply put. I got fired. The boss wanted someone to come in to fill the job and he fired me. Because I told him no, my daughter sick. My wife's in the hospital. There aint nobody to look after my daughter. And so cause that ma boss ma jerk boss fired me from the job. Imagine there's many people that can relate in. Having a boss that is a jerk and fired them kind of like me when there wasn't much of an option, it was either take care of my daughter or lose my job. Fact, my daughter still has chicken pox scars from from back then. Cause well, it was a good ways of a drive before I got to my work where I was working at. Back then, when she was 3 and she had the chicken pox. Plus we lived in a very rural out in the middle of nowhere kind of place. You took a bit of a drive just to get to my job. I'm given how itchy chicken pox can be. It's no wonder why my daughter still has chicken pox scars all over herself. Even on her face, most people think that they're acne scars. But they're not, she's got chicken pot. Scars all over her face kind of looks a, but if you are paying attention, then you notice it, you'll see that there's 1 on 1 on her left side of her cheek, and then there's 2 on her chin and then another one on her other cheek. Her face is kind of messed up but Because that happened when she was 3. She's just gotten used to the fact that it's a part of her. She's no longer unconfident in herself. She just had to own to the fact that she's got scars on her face all over her body. And that's what it is to believe in herself and love herself for who she is. She's got that confident energy. That's where even if people say that she has to wear makeup because her scars are hideous as she says. No, they're a part who I am. Why should I change the way I look just to please everyone when I'm gonna be pleasing, no one including myself. Just have to believe myself and have respect and love for my own self, you know?
