@@FABEDhacks I’m wondering what the heck you’ll use for raw material…I guess pieces of wood but I know how creative you are and also that you never fill your recycle bin up for the trash company since you make plans to use everything in some unintended way. 🙆🏻♀️

It's kind of absurd. I actually have cabinets and shelves full of junk!! The gourd and candle holder use some wacky materials and I started the riser in one direction but I think I found another option so I may go that way instead.

@@FABEDhacksit’s comforting to know I’m not alone in my “supply” hoarding! I was gifted a beautiful antique chifferobe and until I strip and refinish it, it is stuffed to the gills with all sorts of things I have either saved, gotten at thrift stores or garage sales, or been gifted by family and friends who know what I do with such things - and that doesn’t include all the stuff that I couldn’t fit in there! I’m in the process of a bathroom and kitchen remodel at the moment, but as soon as those are completed, my new studio and workshop space is next on the list - with lots of storage! I really enjoy watching how you craft these dupes. Your creativity in supplies amazes me at times. 🙂
Love your dupes. Yes, please, do another finish.

Hi Linda! YAY! Thanks! So glad you liked the Olive Ateliers Turkish Olive jar DIY!! 🙂❤️
I had a small Jack O' Lantern Chimnae that unfort broke, with this same patina. Won't be able to light it obviously, but I might try and do this with a dollar store pumpkin. Thanks for the video.
@FABEDhacks

Hi Rayne! Bummer about your Chimnae but I thing that would look great on a DT pumpkin!! 🙂❤️
Just curious, why didn't you adhere the handle before you painted? Loved how this turned out! I want to try the handle technique!
Hi Rosemary! Is the clay you used for the terracotta handle air dry clay?
@FABEDhacks
11 ай бұрын
Hi Emily. I just used the modeling clay from dollar tree. I shaped it then left it to air dry overnight but probably about 18 hours. I've used that product before on projects and it works really well. About 3 years ago I used to give a wood like texture to a pumpkin and it is still going strong all these years later!
Your paint job looked like a small child did it.

And strangely enough, that is the look that is selling for hundreds of dollars in high end stores.
You had me until you said no spinning it around the room. It was at that moment I realized you take your duplication entirely too seriously. Keep it secret that it came from Dollar Tree? Not on your life sister. You need to be showing these pieces to art galleries. Your skills can be raking in the dough and I can be your representation. I’m told I’m very negative… people have no sense of humor

Hi Miss Mary! Now you know if I didn't mention that I would sooner or later get a comment on how someone made one, filled it with two pounds of beans then proceeded to carrry it around only for the handle to break off and glass and beans go everywhere wanting to know why I didn't tell them it was only decorative! 😁😁❤️

@@FABEDhacksdo you think that could be because sometimes people be not too schmart? Because I no longer make ceramics I don’t know what products they have these days, but there is probably a glaze that would give a nice sheen without 5876 little nail polish brush strokes. 👈🏻👉🏻
@FABEDhacks

I'm sure there is but it is probably something like $8 for the same fluid oz plus, like on nails, it dries without any lines. But even if it did, leave lines, it would just add to character! And about the schmart thing, girl, it's getting scary out there!!🙂❤️
I like yours better 😂
