Liverpool because of the passion and history will always be bigger than Chelsea and will rise again. Chelsea were most successful think about it with no emotions when everyone else in the league were completely broke and there was no ffp and you could do underhand deals this has now gone so clubs like Chelsea will decline over time 😂 logical

It's because they're desperate for that to be the case. There is a clear top 3 at the moment of City, Arsenal, and Liverpool, that leaves only 1 spot available for CL which is being fought over by Villa, Newcastle, Man Utd, Chelsea, and Spurs. If Liverpool were to fall off that improves Chelsea's chances of CL qualification and they're desperate to get back in the CL because of the money they're missing out on
