Olight "M3XS-UT" Javelot LED Flashlight

Спорт

If you want a torch for hunting, this Olight M3XS-UT provides a narrow beam which will allow you to take shots at all practical distances of an evening. The pack I got was $350 and available of from Olight Australia: www.olightstore.com.au/olight...

Aaron M how does the M2X go? Do you use the mag mount on the barrel? I'm looking to replace a lightforce pred3x also on a Lithgow 22, It's flat out picking up eye shine past 50 yards, waste of money. Anyway whats the furthest out you reckon you can identify a fox in the scope? Thanks for your help.

Have this light for my AR 5.56 16” barrel. Aimpoint H1 on top and the light directly below barrel up front. No pressure switch. It’s solid enough to grip the light and use rear switch. Great set up.

Thanks for the review ozzie👍 they have a 40% off special starting from last night so im definatly going to get one! Will be very handy. Pigs have been comming in near the grain silos and grain dump in droves and this will be perfect instead of trying to juggle with the old dolphin torch and a rifle haha cant wait to get my hands on one! 👍

I have one. Med power I find is ideal for rabbits, even out to about 100mt, and you get a long run time

Great review as always! Just wondering if you or anyone else here gets that kind of run time with theirs? I bought 12 6800mAh rechargeable 18650's and on my last hunting trip I went through all of them by the 5th hour mark - 11pm. I didn't have it on constantly, I turned it off and used different modes, but had to change the batteries every 1.5 hours or so. By comparison, I have other cheapo Ebay red lights that run off cheap 2400 mAh batteries. They take a single battery and last 3 or so hours. Even the two Olight supplied batteries (2600mAh) lasted little over an hour with the light regularly turned off. Any advice?

G'day oz. will mounting a torch to your scope change your poi at all mate?

Magnetic mount only good for low recoil calibres i.e. rimfire. I got a scope mount pic rail for mine to swap from rifle to rifle and it keeps the torch nice and secure. Be warned that it does go through batteries. I got 3 sets of soshine batteries (Panasonic cells) for mine. Don't go off the rated specs that the torch comes with. Also got the red and green lenses for hunting.

Discontinued. Wonder what is the replacement model. 2x 18650 seems a sensible power source & form factor, yet Olight has so many custom/proprietary power packs for most of their products.

Nice review just brought a klarus xt30r same price aprox as m3xs ut but has a 3hr run time on max 1800lmn with a 820m throw i only pick it over the m3xs as im using it for lamping with dogs

I guarantee that the 3 hr. claimed run time on "max" is bs... all lights on max/turbo ramp down to protect the components of the light... Olight, is just honest about it.

Eddie O yeah ive been using it all week and it still has has charge after 2h30mins and they all ramp down and i disagre that olight are they only ones honest about it most decent manufacturers state that the lumes drop but the olight is nice but the xt30r has a decent edge over it

I never said that they were the only ones who are honest... I guarantee that it does not run 2 1/2 on max... if you run both side by side, there's little difference in run times. What is the edge you speak of, run time? The Olight out throws it by a couple hundred meters.

Eddie O the edge for me is lumen output longer run time as far a build quality their both well made i dont not like the olight at all my mate has one have seen them side by side both a good value for me i use mine with in 200m or closer so i find a tighter spot with the klarus but in saying that i like the yellow of olight its easier on the eyes after long periods of spotlighting but its really apples to apples with these lights the olight throws 200m more and the klarus has 6-700 lumens more either one is a good buy

Yes, they're both great lights, in the end, it's all subjective... can't go wrong with either, both have their pluses and minuses. I for one prefer the tint and the battery options on the Olight.

Isn‘t it funny that there is a tick at green filter at the red filter and there is a tick at red filter at the green filter? :D
