Dinma , the old men are economical with the truth.as an igugu person, our fathers used to show us where olenyi stayed when he came, around ulo n obollo , close to igugu.before he came igugu was already there, same as other towns around udenu.if igugu was not there when he came, how could he have married from igugu. Igugu also helped obollo to win many battles and as a result of that some parts of ogbele and iheakpu were given to igugu people to live.our people lived there but were later recalled home since they were not many. Before now wherever igugu went for marriage or funeral ceremony around udenu , the people would drop there tradition and follow that of igugu.many of the elders we have today are politicians.
