Olena Braichenko on Nutrition in Times of War

In her project, researcher Olena Braichenko focuses on the nutrition of Ukrainians under Russian occupation. Currently, she also researches the practices of gardening and food supplies under occupation and how they saved people's lives. Olena wants to finish the project with analytical material about food as a factor in uniting people and distributing new social roles.
In this video, Olena Braichenko talks about new structures of time around food in occupation, ethics of interfering in the personal space of the interviewees, as well as the female experiences of nutrition during the occupation.
