Bama would have CRUSHED that Irish team. This was back when ND kept voters in their pocket (see 1966 also)

And the Irish would still win the National Championship.

That doesn't seem to be the case now that there are playoffs.They've got enough voters to put them IN the playoffs but thankfully nobody wins it any more by having their name written down by puppets kissing their little favorite that they're brainwashed into thinking is so gooood for college football!
