You are listening to a new and very nice effect of old fashioned music, oldies as we like calling them, (music from 20's, 30's, 40's) and it is sounding like it is coming from another room with relaxing rain and thunder sounds.I hope you guys enjoy the another room effect to oldies songs - this unique combination between oldies music with relaxing rain sounds, but this time it is night ambience with an open window and crickets chirping. Enjoy this 3 HOURS Dreamscape of ASMR bliss!

"in another room"... That's key. That takes me back. Going to bed while the grownups are still up. The comfort of their presence and their protection. A moment that lasts forever. Where the already inexistent troubles seemed to vanish. How I need these moments back.

I know what you mean when I moved out of my parents house I went through the same thing my dad was always a night owl. It was a for sure thing if I woke up before 3am I can still fall back to sleep cause he would still be awake watching a old movie or something and I nodded back off easily.

I was thinking the same thing and found your comment because i read all 376 comments, curious to see if i could find any negative ones. not a single negative comment. most comments weren't only just not negative, but the majority of the people commenting were super positive, with lots showing support and praise for the creator, as well as just being really supportive to other commenters. i'm not sure how Nemo has done it, but the demographic that he draws in is completely diverse in age, race, and even country but somehow we are just all overwhelming nice to each other here, and on the internet even.

This reminds me of Christmas's party at my grandma's house. We used to get all together, eat delicious food while listening to joyful music. Here in South America, we celebrate Christmas in summer, so I clearly remember the crickets on a warm night below the stars :). I missed those troubleless times, not worrying about anything in particular. And I miss my Grandma Betty with all my heart ❤ ❤ ❤ PS: Thank you for all the lovely comments. I never had so many likes, and I thought my small reflection would be left unseen. Still amazes me that so many people from so many different countries in the world could relate 💓💓 My grandma Betty was an adorable and incredible person. She was also a strong woman who had to raise her children alone, after the love of her life was killed in a car accident. I was her first grandchild (along with my twin) and she was one of the most lovely and sweet persons I've ever met. Her last birthday, despite already having early stage of dementia, was surrounded by friends, family and lots of love. That's how I like to treasure her in my memories.

The chill atmosphere, no phones or computers, the conversations and the laughter that followed, the good food and Tom & jerry before sleep. Now everyone from those memories is either an alcoholic, dead or soon to be dead and the world is unrecognizable.

Hey friend, don't forget that there were chaos and problems in older times too. You could even argue that there were worse times, with both of the World Wars, The Great Depression, and so on. One big difference is that people would get the news about what was going on as the newspaper arrived, and that was about it. Today, however, we're constantly inundated with tragic news on our phones, bombarded with the weight of the world's tragedy without relent. Take some time, listen to music, put your phone away, and from my experience, take some time to pray. The Lord hears you, and cares. There are still good times to be had today!

Listening to old songs, and they bring me to a past I've never seen, and make me feel nostalgic for times I never lived. It's amazing such a thing, to think that the past is sealed forever, inaccessible. The fact that we can't go back in time beyond memories is immeasurably sad. The society we live in today will never be the same as before, just as the society of the future will never be the same as today. We can no longer access what once was, and our only way to "go back" is through memories and fragments. Really sad. But luckily we can listen to music and feel, even if for a moment, that we are part of simpler times, which will never come back.

There are certain ways to preserve the past and that's what I think traditions are. Some things will change, that's an unavoidable reality about life but some things can remain the same if we try. The past doesn't have to exist like another dimension. A well of lessons, ethics and experience has been tapped into by our ancestors and we would do well to observe and implement them in our daily lives.

This ambience music awakens an intense nostalgic feeling, like something is missing, almost crushing me from the inside, a profound feeling of void or emptiness. This music and video reminds me of my grandma, times when I was kid and we would laugh watching Tom and Jerry, a show we both loved. Eventually she would start losing her eyesight, and those things in which we would bond started fading away as time went by. She passed away this year, and we ended up so distant, sharing a few words here an there and suddenly she wasn't there anymore. The funny or rather tragic thing, is that I cannot even say I would have done things differently, cause I didn't even know how to change things back then, and now that she is gone is the same. But I'm glad of this emptiness, the only reason I feel something is missing is because I knew better, we did share some laughs, and for a moment, as brief as it may have been, we enjoyed part of our lives together, I just wish we shared some more laughs before the end. Thanks if you read all of this 😅, I just felt like writing and sharing a part of me. Hope you have a wonderful life and that you find joy in this little moments of indescribable emotions, because is in these moments that we realize there's so much more to life, a whole world of experiences to be experienced and feelings to be felt.

Greetings brother! I live in the woods in America and it has this vibe. Relaxing, peaceful and, safe. It may sound boring to alot of people these days but it's the best way to live. The countryside is home. No car horns or people yelling or police sirens, only the crickets and some owls with the occasional dog barks from my ol boys out back. May peace and prosperity find you brother.

POV : You finally managed to escape the busy life of cities and the sight of noisy cars passing back and forth . It's summer , the night sky is so clear giving you full view of the dancing stars around the beautiful moon . You're sitting in your porch with a book in your hand and a refreshing drink placed on top of the wooden table . Before you get comfortable , you decided to play some music and allow the sounds to take your brain in a trip . You're stable , happy living in a cottage in the middle of nowhere.. far from the noises , far from toxic people , far from the black and white world . You did it , you managed to find a colorful place you call home .

If I suddenly appeared in that place, I would cry hard. But I'm in my room laying and doing nothing, I'm tired , tired of everything, even laying . I have no power to do anything recently( 1.5 months), but I have to go to lessons, study and study again very hard. That takes even more power, I don't want to pretend I'm a productive happy teenager, who can answer any question and solve any problem. I wish I could just have a rest, real rest, not usual 2weeks of tutors and sitting at home .

its amazing that this used to be the primary vibe in music at one time, and now, in a relatively short period of time, it has almost disappeared. this music seems to carry the energy of that generation, and all the people from that generation who were, or are, dear to us. all of their hopes, dreams and lessons. This made me very emotional and question, what am I missing?

The thing that conks me out when I listen to this in my bed is the subtle nature background sounds of the birds, bugs, and swaying trees. Reminds me of when the summer nights would leave me in my underoos lying next to my window and my eyes catching the slices of white moon pie streaming gently into my room through the branches. I remember that night when I can as it was the calmest moment I have ever experienced. I felt like the whole world was idling like an engine, still running, but slow enough for me to watch without participating in the usual chaotic madness.

I've listened to quite a few of these before.... but for some reason, this one IS IT. It is just a non-stop string of perfect nostalgia and artificial memories of a time gone-by. I always felt like I was born in the wrong decade. I should have been a teen through the roaring 20's, finding my way in adulthood in the challenging 30's, commanding bravery in the face of tyranny in the 40's, experiencing the golden era as a quinquagenarian, and seeing the birth of modern technology and the turn of the 21st century as a Centenarian. Although there was much strife (and much to lament) about all of the past generations; there is no escaping that I feel that I am most at home when I don a full suit and overcoat, work hard all day, drive home in the open air roadster as a radial-engine plane passes low overhead, and come home to a glass of neat whiskey, a fresh cigarette, and this record playing as I sit back in my reading chair. Yes... this is it. Straight to the Patreon site for me.

I loved reading your comment. I suppose it's a matter of perspective but I think of modern technology beginning with electricity, refrigeration, running water and a second rotary phone next to the bed so I don't have to go to the kitchen to answer the phone. God, I'm old. But I can skin a chicken in 20 minutes and cook it on a wood stove for you....

Addicted to this particular one. Makes me feel like I’m at my grandparents house and I’m tucked into bed after a great dinner and listening to shows on the radio with them and my sister by the fire all night. Safe and cozy in my bed, smiling faintly as I drift off to sleep, knowing they are right in the 1:10:01 next room. Probably with my grandpa having a glass of scotch and my Gran a glass of wine, him puffing cozily on a cigar, with these comfy oldies playing on the radio. I would fall asleep happy, content and safe. This feels strangely like someplace I know, yet I’ve never been there. ❤
