Oldies but Goodies Mix part 1
Музыка
I was in an oldies mood and made this for you guys. Hope you enjoy listening to some oldies! :) It was hard to pick songs cuz pretty much anything I listen to that is "oldies" I love, but I managed to narrow down the list to 11 songs, each song plays about 2 minutes :) Anyways, I hope you enjoy.

I never listen to todays music so decided to look up oldies here. Love the music from the 50's and 60's. There will never be a better era for good music.

Hi Lindi
Love these oldies, Good memories!!
I'm 71 years young and yes, those were the golden years. Stop and dream, of back then.
I’m only 13 and these oldies always put a smile on my face with the rhythm and the lyrics, man I was born in the wrong generation today’s music I don’t understand what these “artists” are even saying but these oldies give me a good vibe GOD BLESS OLDIES
I was born in the 60's but this is what I was raised on and still my favorites as well as my daughter and granddaughter's. on behalf of all of us THANK YOU.

I was a teenager during the "oldies and goodies" time, and believe, I am so glad I grew up during this era. Music was music back then with harmony and great singers. this is "special" to me as well, I was raised near Mason City IA where Buddy Holly played at the surf. also, I knew the pilot who managed the municipal airport. it was his plane that went down carrying the singers. that haunted him until his death this past January. just wanted to share how close I am to this music. thank you for giving us all these great songs. I really appreciate it.
Its crazy how family influences the music you listen too... Im 16 and when i was little my grandpa would sit in the garage and just listen to oldies all day and i would be with him. Brings back great memories!
Oldies will never die.😊
can never get enough of the oldies, this is the real feel good music!
This is the kind of music my ears accept.
I heard this playlist so many times I know what song is going to play after each one

I absolutely Love this music! i'm a 76 lady and thanks to my father I got to really valuate this lovely music and decades.
Good old times in East La in my 56 Chevy pickup cruising the streets with my old lady .. Damn I miss those days ...
Now this here is real music!
These songs never die, because as long as there are people who know good music, will continue to be present.
This music comes from a time when things were a lot simpler.

I'm depressed and heartbroken. This music makes me miss my dad. He passed away in 89'. I was 14 and he was 38. This music brings tears to my eyes. This music is great to sing along with. This is the type of music you know all the words to.

this music is so relaxing for me i love these songs
I love this kind of music. They have meaning
just a note; when i was growing up in the 50s and 60s, I memorized every song that came out on the hit parade - usually after hearing it only once or twice. That's because they all told such a great story that you could identify with and understand on an intimte level. The songs became part of me very quickly and my guitar and I still do quite a few of them today - in my sixth decade.
Nothing like chillin, taking a drive listening 2 some oldies!! This is an awesome mix!
This was a time when the music and the lyrics both promoted a loving and soothing atmosphere where a girl and a boy became friends,a boy and a girl became lovers and this music became a staple of their lives and memories.

I love this music. I was only born in 1986, but I enjoy a lot of this music more than what we have today. One day, I hope to be driving down a long, lone road in a classic convertible with songs like these on the radio and a beautiful woman in the passenger seat beside me. Just to drive off into the distance with great music and our love. It would be awesome.
Thanks for sharing. I listened to the whole thing, and a song you had on here from James Brown called "Try Me" was very good. It's the first time that I've ever heard it.
brenton woods' song "I like the way you love me" is an absolute gem in this stellar mix. bravo and thanks.
I enjoyed listening to all these songs... they plunged me back in time. Thank you!
always and forever will be listening to oldies ♥
I absolutely love these!! The best thing about these songs are that I’ve never heard of them before so they are new to me. I am such a huge fan of the oldies!!! all of the songs have a special place in my heart but there’s only one song that I loved the most. The song is called one summer night!!

This music came from a time when life was simple, easy, and calm. I was a teen in the sixties and I enjoyed all of this music. I raised my children on it and they love it. That was when music was music, people fell in love to this music and you can't help but feel at ease and in a comfort zone when listening. I love the videos with the lyrics because I can sing along and not mess up some words (lol). Love it, love it, love it...

Great playlist: I knew about half of them to start with, and now I have some new (old) favorites -- not one bad song on the list!
this kind of music is perfect for every occasion
Just wanted to comment that i came across this video probably about 10 years ago, when i was 13 years old at the time falling in love for the very first time, with a person i saw for 3 more years after that. We sang some of these songs together, and they brought a whole different meaning then. When i was 17 years old, I fell in love with the most beautiful & kindhearted man that I had prayed for so long, 5 years later I find myself heart broken and missing him at 23 years old. Today would’ve been our 5 year anniversary and I have hoped that he has thought about me as much I have all these days for him. All the long nights my heart calls for him. Now at 23, my first love is expecting a baby, and even though he had always hoped we would end up together, he has always known deep down that we never will. Somewhere along the way, I had my eyes on this man I fell in love 5 years ago and I’ve never wanted to lose sight of him, and today my heart longs for him. I would play We Belong Together by Ritchie Valens in the car, I would sing these songs to him… and with him besides me , the song playing in the car, and with the wind cracking through the windows, it all became a different rhythm, a song my heart longs, never wanting to skip a beat for a moment like that again. A moment with him, and only him. Don’t give up on love. It finds you when you least expect it. It beats you up, confuses you sometimes, but good things come. & true love exists. Here’s to brighter days 💛
Its a shame this type of music isnt being made as much... I may be mistaken but i cant find much current music that sounds anything like this stuff.

Yes this new music is depressing. There's nothing like the oldies 🙂.
I feel so blessed to have been a teenager during this rock n' roll era of 50's and 60's. Best music ever! Still loving it over everything else now. If you love this era, try listening also to the folk music of the 60's era also, e.g., Monday Morning by Mamas and Papas. Great Harmonizing.
No internet, no mainstream media, no way for evil to reach us so easily. Life was so much sweeter and I was an 80s baby. Appreciate this type of music more and more as I get older.
I'm only six years old, but I appreciate this genre of music more so than the contemporary music which is popular amongst my peers today. Most of my "friends" hear me listening to this type of music, and treat me like the ugly duckling of society just because I am an aberration to the music world.
Damn! Good ass oldies 💙

Hi Jenny
So sad about Ritchie. He was a very talented young man and gave the world his wonderful songs. So tragic about his loss. MY mom was in second grade when the plane crash occurred. She has mentioned it to me.
The 50's and early 60's....what an era...music that will never be duplicated..music that said something...told a story..words you could understand...music that you and your girl could romance to...wish I could go back....
