I’m almost 80 years old. Yes the 50s & 60s were great, We were so blessed to have been there.

My wife of 62 years and I would drag the main and listen to all of these songs and go to the drive-ins get burger and root beer float. Life was a lot better back then.

I'm 74 and feel young again listening to the 1950s and 1960s music. ❤❤

Music is my time machine.I put on my ear phones , close my eyes and listen to the great music of the 1950s 60s and early 70s , my mind remembering good and bad times those records bring.

An era when songs were real songs and touched people.

I'm 56, but my mother sang these songs for me from the time I was born. She had a beautiful voice and everyone loved to hear her sing. I miss her so much. 💔

I am 81 years old, but young at heart. I used to go to dance to this music, and listening to it keeps me young. I can still sing, but from opera I have become a crooner. I know the words and can sing most of these tunes. I am sorry for my children and grandchildren who can not appreciate the joy that these songs can bring.

I am 67, my wife and I both love this music. It's all we listen to. Nowadays they have electronic voice correction, anybody can pretend to be a singer. But back then you had to be able to sing and then you had to practice very hard and all the time. You can feel the difference in your heart and soul when you listen to the original music

@@wellsy1954 I made my comment right at the start of the video. You're right, these are all re-recordings by generic artists not the originals. I quickly clicked off of this video and found a different video by a different content creator that had original music. But my sentiments are still the same, it's the 50s music that is heartfelt and the people knew how to sing back then. The people that were singing in the video I made the comments on here are not singers from back in the fifties, they are just want to be's. Thank you for your comment, God bless you.

I'm only 67 but I remember an old geezer born in 1889 who had a 1950 Starliner coup and he put a free wheeling propeller on the nose !!!

I'm 68 but this 70s compilation has made me feel like a 20 year old again! I can't help but bop around to the beat! So many of these songs take me back to particular places and the people I was with at that time. Better than any blood pressure pills or statins!

I love music. I was born in 1955. This era of music is gone, never to return. Yes, I listen to modern music but, this was an era of multiple ranges in voice. Hitting notes pitch perfect. Putting part of oneself into the song. Making it your song. Also, making your audience feel like they know you after your performance. These attributes I think, have gotton lost in our music of the 2020s. To reiterate,,,,,,I love lots of todays music but, this was just a special time in musical history. Thanks for reading. Tim Y
