Looks at Jay's "oldest" minis. Looks at the Blood Bowl minis I bought in the 80's. And the Ral Partha D&D minis I bought in the 70's...

Seeing Jay dump out a box of minis hurt but I remember those are probably all plastic 😅 I look at my printed minis funny and they disintegrate

It's great fun opening old boxes of hobby stuff....but you've still got a long way to go,I have my original airfix figures from 1966 up to my first metal English civil war figures from 1971 and all my games workshop armies from 1982 to current era stuff and don't regret any of them as they all bring me joy even now,I'm 64 and still go.....oooh new shinys.

"More than a year" is old? I still have some plastic beaky marines from last century :P

I've plastic models from the 70's and don't consider them old, heck I've GW metal eldar swooping hawk order than jay🤣

I love being able to wake up and watch an Eons of Battle video almost every day a week. My days are often really rough, it's hard to keep my motivation up and keep going. But something I ALWAYS look forward to is getting up in the morning, popping on one of your videos and having my little half hour of positivity before the world hits.

The little Plague Doctor looks exactly like the one in Darkest Dungeons, very cool!

The starship troopers box would actually be a good idea to do now since the ip has gotten a ton of eyes drawn to it all because of Helldivers 2

I would buy any Helldiver models instantly- that and Elden Ring, always wanted to do a diorama set in Limgrave

I love that tau sniper, we dont get many pinups on video, since its a little risque, but the're so fun to paint.

Isn't it wild when Jay refers to things as 'pretty old' and literally four fifths of my hobby life was before those things were released! Imma get mah pipe and slippers :P

Did you sort and photograph what was in the box? Would be cool to see them all together in their relevant armies/projects!

I beennso busy running my new game store. I haven't painted anything for about a month. But seeing this pile of minis motivates me to grab something and just paint to get the hobby bug back on track. Thanks, Jay.

For the starship troopers minis or any others you wont use anymore you could make dioramas! And maybe raffle rhem to fans? Or sell em or have a showroom lol. Love the vids!

Jay if you want a miniature agnostic skirmish game to play all these random minis, which is super easy to learn but great fun with friends, I can recommend space weirdos by garske games. It’s fully miniature agnostic (you choose stats to represent your models)

Jay you gotta get on One Page Rules - that way you can use your terminator, mars attacks aliens, starship trooper models... 😘

The Mars Attacks game is a really fun game. Wish Mantic didnt loose the license for it.

I am amazed that you still have all that stuff, I have maybe 10 Horus Heresy figures I have some on paint a few months ago and put inside a display case. I haven’t played any WH in years I mainly play TTRPG games as part of my job

Jay Not sure if you heard if the Miniatures Agnostic Game Stargrave the space version of Frostgrave. But you can make a crew from any miniatures you want perhaps all the odd one you showed here could be your Stargrave Crew. I’m doing a Rouge Trader Space Ork Crew with mainly metal minis.

That Broodlord painted in GSC color looks really great~! Would also like to see a GSC broodlord painted in Tyranid color.

Maybe use the Terminator T-800 (Cyberdyne Systems Model 101) models as some type of Necron Lords? Add a bit of Egyptian stuff and that might work out! Edit: I really like the “Tuxedo” Necron shown at 16:15 👍🏻

You could try to sneak the Terminators in a game with Necrons. Replace some Warriors or Royal Wardens with them. :)

And this here is my 5th BC hand carved model! As you can see the sculpt is a little dated but it's got that old school charm to it.

Could you please make a video about converting terminators into black templar ones with tabarts and so on. Because the new Deathwing Terminators could be so templar fitting but they cant be played as them. So we definetly need a guide to build cool ones by ourselves

The space marines are still fine as a tactical marine kill team, as they can have a plasma gun, heavy bolter, and leader with power fist and pistol. You just need 3 other guys with basic bolters and that's a valid team

That mantis dude would be great for Stargrave.
