Sanskrit might actually be the oldest language in the world. The incredible similarities to Greek seem to suggest that either Sanskrit itself or something very similar to Sanskrit was spoken by the ancient Aryan ancestors of North India before they left Europe, thousands and thousands of years ago. While we cannot prove that Sanskrit is 10,000 years old, the facts of linguistic distribution make it not at all unlikely.

But Rig Veda is "Composed" in 15th century Bc. It's not Writtened in 15th century Bc. The earliest copy of Rig Veda is 14 th century AD. But in Keeladi and Adichanulur excavation Tamil inscription proved Tamil is there on 900Ad. Sanskrit first inscription is 100Bc. North Indians claimed that their Language is Oldest language. So Sanskrit is spoken language without script unlike Tamil.

Rig veda is Composed on 15th century BC. Here composing mean Oral form. The copy of Rig Veda is 14th century AD. The first inscription of Sanskrit in 100BC. But keeladi and Adichanallur Excavation proved by Tamil inscription that the Tamil is there in 900Bc. But unlike Tamil sadly Sanskrit is orally evolved.

There is factual error in this video , Marathi is not 2300 years old , Govt of India didn't recognise it as a classical language of india, classical Indian languages are Sanskrit, Tamil , Telugu , Kannada, Malayalam and odia ( that means there is iconographic or some other written proof like edicts which are more than 1500 years ) , for example satavahanas who ruled most of Maharashtra, Telangana and parts of Andhra during 300 BCE to 5th century CE their official language is prakrit and sanskrit but issued coinage prakrit , there is no mention of Marathi anywhere , similarly Rastrakutas used kannada eventhough they ruled vast majority of today maharastra , Marathi is way younger than odia , when govt itself didn't recognise it as classical language please don't put your personal favouritism because it is factually wrong , Marathi have literary works as late as late 13th century, claiming that it existed 1000 years before that is outrageous blunder

Majority(99%) dosen't know how to read write and speak the langiuage except priests and rishis only used. Tamil were spoken written and used from common people merchants,kings, priests,poets and siddhars( rishi or saints) vastly used approx not less but more than 100 million people from before 5000 years to till date🔥 .But sad to say Sanskrit(indo European language family) is spoken by few thousand people as of now and not too accurately except top scholars since it is not in usage by common and official people language researchers says that is a dead language( not in use)🙏🏻

The Macedonian language was nothing more than a greek dialect. There's no way the ancient macedonians used a slavic alphabet when the slavic alphabet was made in the bulgarian empire, which came a lot of years later after Alexander the great. If you're gonna recognize it as a language, at least use the greek alphabet instead. And please be careful with the sources. Not all sources are reliable, despite what they claim.

@@Vikaskate-sh9me yaa the correct pronunciation is tamizh not tamil because tamizh has three different version of sound "la" and three unique letter for 'la' ழ,ல,ள . in word tamizh we use letter ழ்(ழ) which translated as zha and another two letter "ள,ல" are pronounced 'la'with slight difference.

Sanskrit is the oldest. Some radical tamil people will not accept it.

There is an error in the image you showed in the Turkish section. Because Latin Alphabet is used in Turkey. Although the Arabic Alphabet was used during the Ottoman period, the Persian Alphabet was used in the previous periods for the expression of the language. The real or, in other words, the first Turkish Alphabet is the alphabet used in the Orhun Inscription, if you wanted to give correct information here, you had to give either this first or the last alphabet. As additional information, the two-line inscription found in a kurgan during the archaeological studies carried out near Issyk-Köl is in Göktürk alphabet and dates back to BC. V.-IV. dates back to centuries. This shows that Turkish is a language that is at least 1000 years older than known.

I am also Tamil . Proud of our language , but we should protect and conserve it by learning fluently and using pure Tamil words without mixing other languages like English while using sentences .

Misinformation is real. The Macedonian language was simply an Hellenic dialect with minor differences from Hellenic. Trying to present that the current language of Northern Macedonia is three thousand years old is completely inappropriate. At a simple glance one can understand that the language of Northern Macedonia is based on the Slavic language which began to be used in the 9th century AD. All languages evolved from only one language. It's not like multiple languages existed at the same time. Language is the beginning of a civilization. Read upon history of civilization then you will know why Sanskrit and Tamil is the oldest. Both can be traced back to 16500BCE, this video is actually wrong on the actual date.

Y’all realize this isn’t how languages work, right? Languages change and split into different dialect groups over time. Just because a language from 3000 years ago is called the same name as the language it eventually developed into doesn’t mean it's still the same language. Just because French only started being called French after it split off from Latin doesn’t make it any younger than Greek. They both developed over Millenia from Proto Indo European. Same goes for all Proto Indo European languages. We also don’t know the origin point of any other language families, so we don’t even know if any languages are older than any others at all. They even mention this issue in the description.

Tamilians crying how their language is still alive as if Sanskrit is dead, they probably think all the brahmins that do all the stuff in temples and rituals they all speak in hindi lol

Sanskrit is alive too. Though not many people speak it. But people speak languages derived from Sanskrit. Be it Hindi, Bengali even Tibetan is influenced by Sanskrit and its grammer rules come from it.

This is an extremely misleading and inaccurate video. First off, there is no such language as Macedonian - the language they spoke in ancient Macedonia was ancient greek. The Russian, the Ukrainian and all the languages that use the cyrillic alphabet exist after the Bulgarian language which itself is not included and is about 1100-1200 years old.

Sanskrit starts with universe. Most of the classical languages are near about older than the mentioned here . Kumarikandam is older than 5000 years so Tamil has existence older than 5000 years . So fighting on the basis of languages of India is baseless because most of languages are affected and make rich each other . @@rishirv1956 You need proof right ??The Vedas are known as the world's oldest books which were believed to be existed before the beginning of any civilization on earth....The Vedas were created by Brahma (The god of creation)....And those Vedas were written in Sanskrit language....Hindu epics like Mahabharat and Ramayan were also written in Sanskrit language...Thus,it is proved that Sanskrit is older than any other language on earth....

About 60,000 of the 100,000 odd inscriptions found by the Archaeological Survey of India in India are in Tamil Nadu.If kumari kandam exist today tamil would not have needed any explanation

@@rishirv1956 No matter how old Tamil,Assamese and Brajawali is.....It will always be a branch of Sanskrit language coz..the language which wad used by the supreme gods (Brahma,Vishnu and Maheshwar) was itself the Sanskrit language...During Mahabharata,Krishna used to speak the Sanskrit language and Ved Vyas Rishi and Lord Ganesh wrote Mahabharat in Sanskrit language....Ramayana was written by Sage Valmiki in Sanskrit language....Don't believe on today's modern archaeologists bro...They give us a bunch of misinformation....For example,Today's modern archaeologists say that Egyptian civilization was the oldest civilization on earth and they say that they were even older than the indus valley civilization,Mohenjo Daro and Harappa.....This is also a wrong information provided by Modern Archaeologists....because the first Egyptian civilization existed during 8000BC meanwhile the Vedic sanatan civilization started around 15000BC.... If we talk about fossils, i mean scientifically all the scluptures that were found until now it shows that Sanskrit was oldest than Tamil over 600-700 yrs older than Tamil was Sanskrit. No hate ❤️ Both oldest language are from the same land. One is still active that's Tamil people use and other evolved through times and made different language such as Hindi , Bengali , Assamese etc etc
