Hello Victor, lovely to see Mr Iwagaki again , which must fill many with affection and respect.A truly professional gentleman and was always fascinated with the interaction between himself and his wife as she was always ready to do her part.I imagine that had you had the opportunity to revisit the then retiring barber back in 2009, it would have set a new record for viewings !.

Every single time i wonder if there's a new video, there has just been a new upload. Thank you for doing this the last few years. It's wonderful to see a skilled barber doing his or her job. Hope you and your family are doing well and will get through this whole corona mess without harm. Stay safe Victor!

O you teach eikaiwa or do you have a real job? In 福岡 there aren’t many jobs for gaijin except eikaiwa.

So sad he closed in 2018, it’s so hard to find a good barber now days that actually put the time in to cutting hair than trying to get you out the door as quickly as possible

I love how husband and wife work together in unison such a great team. I'm so happy I can still enjoy watching him cut hair. Love the channel love the videos everything is so well captured audio and video. Please stay safe and healthy best wishes to you all.

I just love watching husband and wife work so perfectly in harmony.

The way his shop is set up rocks with the integrated basins, not like anything I've ever seen. A lot of thought and money went into it. Hope somebody rented behind him to carry the torch because it would be a shame to let a professional setup like that get a TLC "Flip This House" treatment and turn into a coffee shop for 8 months

Enjoyed listening to this while doing some art. This was really soothing to listen to. It's too bad this historical barber shop had to close down. Hopefully someone else makes it another barber shop but one could only be hopeful. Nice to see The Red Value again, he's great!

Please, is it possible to upload more videos of Mr. Iwagaki ?. Although we know he's retired, he surely won't mind shooting a video every one to two months. Your fans would greatly appreciate it. This is GREAT! I thoroughly enjoyed watching the other gentleman, (the assistant), walking around preparing everything. Getting the hot towels. Cleaning the shaving cream bowl. And just generally assisting. These two look as if they have been working together for so long...they are "one". Knowing exactly what the other is going to do. The Japanese are a very polite and courteous people...who have a fantastic "work ethic". If you want quality...the Japanese know how to provide it. I don't know how much this cut and shave costs...but I am sure...it is worth every penny.

It IS a compilation, the complete cut + shave takes 50 minutes. The rest is the same cut recorded from different angles.

Wow. That Razor burn showed up instantly as he was shaving. Could only imagine the pain he was going through while this was being done. I have VERY very course hair and know what this guys pain is. Had this happen to me one time with a local barber shop that was NOT trained in straight razor shaved and they BUTCHERED my face. Look like Freddy Kruger when they were done. So much blood as well !!
