Funny back story on this episode. Writers from the show went to one of our PET (Parent Effectiveness Training) classes in Los Angeles and wrote an entire episode on some of the skills we teach in PET, including, of course, Active Listening. Great episode!

Honestly, with the Grandma not having many birthdays left thing, I probably would say something like that to my kid. I was not raised to sugarcoat things.

How about it’s a family thing. And grandmas love their grandchildren and would be upset if she did not see you there appreciating her for being in your life. That is a fact there .. sugar-free 😁😅

A child does not wet the bed because he/she wants to. And it is not always a medical problem. Every child has his/her own time to finally being able to wake up when he/she feel the need to go to the toilet. It's a natural process.

@@LLnightshadow7508 idk about that, i dont really see how my comment suggested anything, but i really do appreciate that you are actively listening to my feelings. Right now, i am feeling that you have a little attitude, and im also feeling that just maybe you could benefit from a spanking. It looks like I was wrong because it is real. Thank you for actively listening to me. I really do feel better now.

@@r011ing_thunder6So im hearing that you dont understand why i think active listening is so funny. And you would just like to know more. I am just expressing how i feel. Maybe i am wrong, and people really do enjoy communicating. I really do appreciate that you are actively listening to me.
