Hochland sure sounds like a great source of marksmen for the Empire, the Golden Order-Electoral County of Solland, the Questing Cult of Sigmar, and the Huntsmarshal’s Colony. Especially when something amiss is brewing within the Mountains

The best thing about this series is it seems like it's not lorefriendly but it is lorefreindly

Not defending a fortress. It's Helmgart, the fort protecting the pass from Brettonia into Reikland. They basically built it into the cliffside overlooking the narrowest part of the pass and anyone who wants to get to the forts gate has to climb up a narrow serpentine road. Both that and the pass are in range for handgun fire from the fortress. Greenskins regularily try to just barrel through anyway and it's just a shooting gallery every time.

Guns AND magic? The safest place in the empire 👍 Also the dwarf sitting on the children's chair was hilarious

@@navilluscire2567 Lol. But seriously though, the Witch Hunters and Cult of Sigmar were completely intolerant of any magic users in the Empire and persecuted those people without exception. Until Magnus the Pious and Teclis created the Eight Colleges of Magic and the Articles of Magic after winning the Great War Against Chaos with the said wizards who joined Magnus' army and were trained by Teclis. Unfortunately there is a catch within the Articles of Magic, those not affiliated with the Colleges of Magic are to join them or be Open Season to the Witch Hunters.

And even then I find questionable that the witch hunters or the cult of Sigmar was 100% effective, especially given the literally 600 year period of the interregnum that started with the wars if 3 emperors which basically meant the Empire as an institution no longer existed. Even then the age before that you have to remember that the cult of Sigmar or rather I should say cults because those that would form the basis for the Sigmarite church we have in more recent history of Warhammer Fantasy's timeline wasn't nearly as influential back then, same goes for the early templar order or witch hunters. What I am saying is that the history of humans and magic is a long and complex one, no matter how much those two institutions above would like us to think things are so clear cut. Did you know that druids or priests of Taal existed LOOONNGG before the jade order of wizards was a thing? They were, and they too wielded magics similar to their jade counterparts, heck much if what the greenery wizards use now can be traced back to druidic practices of Taal's priests and other nature deities.

Alright just gonna say, this Old World Geographic is fantastic. I hope you keep going with these.

That Dawi deserved it. He didn’t speak in Khazlid about the homeland so his grudge is left out of the book against the Hochland Umgis. He should have clarified that Gunbad’s Guns are one of the biggest producers of badass guns the Karaz Ankor, thus it was called Gunbad, because Gunbadass sounds rather silly and extra lengthy…. Plus it confuses the Urks and Grobi.

@@michalaubrecht1512 I forgot to state both the faction and the game cuz lunch finaly got ready. VC in Warhammer I and Mannlet as leader, with Vlad confederated. This has been quite a bizarre campaign, I'll tell you that. To the point I almost thought possible to either Ally with Empire against Archaon at certain moment, or against some dwarves they were até war with. Sadly all Orcs and greenskins from south are gone, before I could even Ally when I head towards Thorgrim's Karaz Ass-Karak.

This is the reason why the blightkings in Brass Keep required the Maggot riders to come and get them out of Hochland during the End times. The moment they open the doors a hail of bullets would greet them, unaware that it is the way Hochlanders greet their neighbours.

You know, it's funny you mention Stirland, because I'm play a vampires campaign as Vlad Von Carstein. Not only are Zhufbar history and all of Sylvania under control, but I also wiped out the entirety of Stirland in a war that has yet to end because the golden order is a bunch of jerks. Right now, Balthasar Gelt is pinned between Castle Templehof, and Occupied Mootland, A stack belonging to Vlad, and another consisting mostly of crypt ghouls and horrors led by a strigoi.

I'm dissapointed that Hochland is not known for their cheese production.
