Hey Richard!!! Thank you so much! Yes, there is plenty to video here. We made several videos on this particular trip, so you got more to come. We don't get down here all that often, but have a lot of fun when we do.

That is a beautiful building and yes very similar to some of the old historic buildings in DC. Never been to Detroit but perhaps one day I will. Speaking of DC, it's a great time to be in DC now, Nats just won the World Series and everybody is all happy and nice, it's almost weird in a good way :)

LOL! Yeah, we heard about the win! That's very cool. Going to be in MD for one day on business, but not sure if we will get to shoot any new video there or not. It would be nice, since it's a fairly grueling round trip. Always more to do than there is hours in the day! Glad you like this one. Detroit has a lot more cool and interesting features that it usually gets credit for. Bev and I had a wonderful dinner at Greektown while we were shooting, and it was fantastic!!!

beautiful building. like how you managed to get it into frame, and being able to see how far you are from the building to get it in really gives some perspective on the size of it beyond hearing it in sq ft or the size of a city block :) with the angle and the pure blue sky it's quite cinematic. Hope you enjoyed your time in Detroit looks like you had great weather for filming! hope you and bev are having a good weekend :D

Annie, first off, we received your card!!! Wow!!! I was blown away!! Thank you so much!! Second, I am so gratified that you see how we worked to get this in frame. It was more challenging than we anticipated when we left to drive down there. When we got there is was like, OMG, how are we going to do this? We just got lucky on the lighting. It really is a beautiful building. Thanks so much!!!

@@Realunitedstates it was a great shot! distractingly good really. large buildings are tricky and you always manage to do them justice. glad the card arrived hopefully all in one piece! I wasn't sure how long it would take to get to you sometimes stuff seems to be quick and other times...not so much. hopefully better late than never for the birthday wishes eh! :D

So sad what Detroits become. Fond memories of going to Tiger games in glorious 68. I've heard the Michigan Central RR station is another architectural gem that's in decay. Any news on jobs?

Well, I guess life is largely a matter of point of view. There are things I miss in the city that are no longer there, but I have fairly traumatic memories about Detroit in 1967 and 1968, and the incessant fires on "Devil's Night" that persisted for years and perhaps decades. Yes, the city has changed in the last half-century, but there has probably been as much good as bad. At any rate, it is nice to see this historic building has been preserved.
