This is one of the best videos on Kratos powe I have ever seen. One thing to note is the effect of the Blades in Helheim. Freya mentions that nothing in the 9 realms can melt the frost in that realm. However, the blades are not from the 9 realms. Even though Midgard is supposed to refer to Earth, only a portion of the people belong to the Macrocosm of the Norse deities (as well as only a portion of people exist in the Macrocosm of the Greek pantheon). When confronted by Baldur, he is told he should’ve never ventured to Midgard. If everyone on Earth belongs to Midgard, then how could Kratos be an outsider to the realm? This isn’t to say that the Blades aren’t super OP, but their OP status is not the reason he was able to melt the ice with them. It’s because they are a foreign artifact that exists outside the rules of the 9 realms.

I remember the first time I introduced God of war to one of my female friends who is a fan of mythology of all kinds, and the first time she saw Kratos; she described his muscles as “deliciously mighty”

Kratos deserve respect. People tend to lowball him too much for some weird reason. After playing GOW 4 i think atreus might gain the same abilities as his father. He was already showing his super strength & his speed so we might see more of them in GOW ragnarok

It's because in powerscaling people like the statements be backed up by feats, so if the author give a statement and doesn't show it then its false, one example is kratos, in this video you see the feats of lore kratos by they just treat them as statements since it didn't happen in game

@@magicrealms2824 no, they would accept it, that's why I hate powerscaling, you can be the author and stat it but they wouldn't believe you if you don show it, most games, shows and animes have that problem, one big example is Naruto where they are roughly solar system level but since they are an AP show and not DC people don't believe it and say they are continent level at best, kratos is by far one of the most low balled characters in gaming since the game shows very little

@@Blake2X4 But there are people out there that will continue to lowball a character despite all the evidence that is shown. A pretty good example not too long was the whole black widow thing on here. I remember someone (I dare not to mention that name lol) on here was lowballing the hell out of black widow and there was plenty of evidence showing she is super soldier tier. Hell there was 2 how strong is videos on Black widow yet the guy still dont want to believe it. He was just blindly hating her. In some cases, some people accept the evidence being shown but in other cases, its like it dont matter what evidence you show, some people will still look down on a character which is a damn shame

Kratos has gone through so much tragedy in his life. I hope one day he can finally stop being hounded by so many different gods and their allies.

@Alone Perhaps or they could have him face different types of enemies. While yes it would seem like a step down from fighting literal Gods, Titans, etc, it doesn't mean they can't find a way to make these lesser foes still seem engaging and perhaps challenging.

The fact that GOW 4 kratos was holding back and still killed a God easily I wouldn't imagine if he was go full try hard mode asgard would be in ruins but no he wanted to keep his past a secret from atreus

Just want to add that GoW has several infinite/immesurable speed feats beyond Helios/Hermes. Not only literal confirmation for the fates in GoW 2 Novel but also in the Ascension intro, where the primordials move in a void without any Time and Space. Valkyries move between the infinite realms with speed.. The primordials, or atleast the elemental ones are all fodder to the Olympians. Their feats like infinite universe creation etc. are fodder in GoW. Thats like the groundstone for describing how powerful Kratos and his enemies are.

Kratos is definitely OP. One thing on the fire from the Blade of Olympus and why it worked in the Realm of the Dead. The Realm of the Dead was so cold that no fire or magic from all the 9 realms could burn there. The 9 realms are all universe-sized dimensions and exist in a connected Macrocosm. However, the macrocosm of the Olympian deities is not the same. It is stated multiple times that Kratos came to Midgard from another land; the land he was from was not connected to the 9 realms. When Freya told him that, he knew his swords could work because they were forged outside of the 9 Realms. This isn’t to downplay the Blades of Chaos, but there has been a lot of people who attributed their usefulness to being so hot that they defied that original coldness of the Realm of the Dead. But I’m pretty sure it’s because they were forged with powers and magic outside the 9 Realms.

Well, it still can be used to argue that the Tartarus fire inside the Blades, amped by the chaos power within them is more powerful than Surtr's fire. Whats not talked about is the Totem of the Hel-Troll. Mimir says its imbued with the power of Helheim, yet the rusty Blades of Chaos utterly destroyed it.

norse blades of Chaos > blades of Exile > blades of Athena > greek blades of Chaos It's implied that the blades of Athena are more powerful than blades of Chaos in GOW 1&2 novels and the blades of Exiles are upgraded blades of Chaos Current Kratos is stronger Norse Kratos >>> Greek Kratos (without the power of hope)

Dude, another excellent video!!! People forget that super strong beings had to use a insane level of constraints to whole back their powers when the interacting with normal people and items. Have you seen the Justice League episode when he fought darkseid and Superman use the " world of cardboard" speech!

The temple that kratos flipped wasn't a normal temple, it's the epicenter of the 9 realms that allows beings in Norse myth to traverse to other realms, so kratos flipping that is equivalent to flipping the weight and mass of 9 universes.

My theory is that Kratos is on ever as strong as the opponent he is facing. Which is why he beat down Titans and still struggle to move a pillar or boulder while solving a puzzle. Kind of like that one mask in the marvel universe that let America Chavez go toe to toe with the Beyonders.

This is also probably the reason why I can pop out stuff so frequently. When some KZread is like me they take like a month to do one video or something.. I found a little tricks on loopholes to where I can still pump out stuff faster but it's still a lot of work though LOL KZreadrs that do similar stuff to me aren't going to do characters as obscure as I do because it's kind of time consuming just for nobody to watch it. So they'll do the same characters over and over again because they know they're still get views on it.. most people wouldn't want to do a how strong is a geralt of rivia video just for nobody to watch it LOL but that's some of the sacrifices I make LOL

My theory is when kratos impaled himself with the Olympus blade in gow he released hope but absorbed the rest of blade godly energy which restored him to gow 2 power levels and immortality the blade lost its glow/energy and became nothing more than a slab of metal

In order to unlock it, you had to go the other way and break a certain crystal. Enemies spawn; and Athena says something about acquiring the Cestus with the power to make the earth tremble.

So that’s mean The sisters of fate are omniscient because they know everyone and their fates and even things that don’t have lives they control the fates of aswell and they know the exact second, minute, hour, day, week, month, year things would happen and so on and Gaia is Omnipresent she even said she was ever present mother of earth and the titans and she’s also a primordial deity and Kratos killed all them. Now this one is confusing the controversial topic wether Zeus is Omnipotent or not. No Zeus is not Omnipotent. However when he’s in a world we’re storms can be created it is said that it amps up Zeus to have infinite power which = Omnipotence however the storm has to be created by Zeus. Not Naturally, not by any god, not by anything, but himself. Since this is in God of War, Zeus was shown to be able to create storms which was said to grant him infinite power until it faded away. It was even said that Zeus was basically connected to heaven to some degree as he got the blade of Olympus forged from their. So yes to some degree Zeus in God of War was Omnipotent but only for short periods of time. It was even said that the sisters of fate made Zeus’s fate so that he wins every fight he gets into and rules Olympus for all Eternity so no matter what gods even if they all have anything that’s infinite or even everything, Zeus would still come out on top. However you may be asking then how does Kratos kill him. Well Kratos killed the fates so they no longer controlled Zeus and also Kratos had the power of hope eternally bound fate that will always be in your favor basically but the blade of Olympus may have took it from him. That’s why most encounters the blade of Olympus didn’t kill Zeus because Zeus had power so much greater than the blade itself did and that’s why after he did all those is when he finally kills Zeus. He weakens Zeus’s Omnipotence. A lot of people said Zeus was Only planetary level well Zeus literally killed every single titan in existence with just one swing of the blade of Olympus in under a second and even killed Cronos the king of the titans who also killed the king of the primordials the literal creator of their universe which puts Zeus basically multiversal at best. Poseidon jumped into the Ocean basically destroying multiple titans and also had infinite power when merging with the sea and Hades overthrew the primordial Tartarus and becoming the new ruler of the underworld and he’s able to rip souls like they’re nothing to him even ripping atlas’s soul after literally putting Cronos to his literal knees Hades gaining all the power from souls can also grant him infinite power. You know what, it was stated that Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades are on the same tier however it was said that Zeus almost killed Poseidon and Hades and so he became the King of the Gods he was the more powerful Skyfather out of his other equals.

In the video games, the reason for the puzzles was to show kratos intelligence.

@@IvaNTheUnStoppable they have fought a god and they fight demons. Blood Omen one has a bunch of crazy spells and Blood Omen 2 Kain destroys a universe. It's a series about time travel ad lots of combat. It was the first series to become popular with the devil may cry/ god of war gameplay. First game is like Diablo tho. Kain drinks blood from like 10' away of his victims to heal and Raziel eats their souls. Kains sword also makes him invulnerable to all damage and gives him regen.

when i searched up how strong thor is it said that mimir is uncertain that kratos can defeat thor in battle even tho thats absolutely not true mimir said that he didn't know who would win.

Actually the souls he absorbed goe into the blades not in him so he probably didn't get any power ups from that and the power of hope was only used in GoW 3 and when killing aries so he is still OP without those

I forgot who said it but I saw somebody do a video on kratos and the issue kratos has is Kratos struggles more with throwing punches with 0 power than with full power Implying that yeah it would be tough for somebody like kratos who would have trouble cutting down a tree with a axe when he knows he can punch right through it They do it as a way to challenge themself

Since kratos strength has increased, has his older age slowed his stamina, compared to his younger self. He seemed a little more tired. Baulder only lasted so long because of his mommy!

@@mel-el5862 No you're wrong, you're basing kratos physical attributes and demi god power to his games, to truly know just how powerful kratos is, you gonna have to delve deep into the lore from his comics, novels, info's from the games and more, in fact Ivan the unstoppable has 4 parts, now 5, fully explaining just how ridiculously powerful kratos actually is. Wonder woman at her most powerful isn't even close to kratos at his most powerful, there's a very good reason why kratos the ghost of Sparta now God of war has earned titles like the destroyer of Atlantis, the destroyer of worlds, God slayer and so on.

The Norse Gods are definitely stronger than the Greek ones because they consistently press kratos to reach his higher levels of power.
