I think it's probably because the original fandom like their unique concept with Urban Electro Genre and their lyrics which has social message to teenagers from their view of point. That was their original concept. Then "Baaam" Pledis suddenly came up with Ballad song for them. About love. It was like they turned completely on the opposite direction of their original concept (?) I'm not sure. But truthfully speaking I also love Hello dan Good Bye Bye.

Guys, they read our fanfictions and they know our gay ships. This is a groups that's really connected to their fans. And that is why they are my bias group. I've been a L.O./\.E for only about a year now, but these boys have turned my life upside down, and that's a good thing. NU'EST, hwaiting!

It's just a good thing that the Korean audience isn't buying that evil editing on him. They actually like Baekho/Dongho, proven by the current P101 rankings, but some of them can be pretty salty--at least it's not the majority though.

Thank you for this video. A fan before It has made me realise the hardship they have been through in the last five years. They were so young when they debted but that song and MV just wow! Plus a message behind it as well! I still do not understand why they did not make it big time even with bad management. They produced so many great songs! I guess fans can be fickle as the songs that did not do well when released are now topping the music charts. Thank goodness for Produce 101for which at first I had my doubt Nu'est have gained popularity and so much more. Growing love and support from new fans as well as old ones like me. i had such a hard time watching this because i randomly found this on a random comment section on a random site (no joke) because back in the day, i was such a hardcore fan... i remember when nuest came to my country for a showcase (sleep talking era) i was in the front row, and that was the moment that i fell 100% for minhyun. not that i didn't like him before, but seeing him up close was so surreal. i gave him a LOVE beanie through the staff and the next day, during a schedule they had at a restaurant (which i went) i saw baekho wearing it 😂 but what really made me believe that min hyun is an angel was when we dined at the restaurant, it was a buffet so we had many opportunities to interact while taking food, and when we were leaving i taped his shoulder and he turned around, giving me the cutest inquisitive look and i passed him a present, to which he said thank you with the widest slime. i'm now 21, this happened when i was 17, and now thinking back, i don't regret all the money i've spent on their albums and concerts, and even though im no longer a "kpop fan" i will always support ㄴㅇㅅㅌ

People need to stop sleeping on them! They are one of the most talented boys in the kpop industry! I fell for them at first sight during Sleep Talking era and honestly they are such a special group! If they were treated with good management then they wouldn't be this this underrated😢 many people said they think Nu'est should be more popular and etc but they don't try to support & help. I often see coments on videos like: "I listened to FACE but wow I had no idear they still was around..." and than those people seperate in two types: type 1) comenting : "And I really like their songs now... Why did I forgot about them?" and than never listens to NU'EST again... type 2) coments: "And now I know why I never liked them..." and than stopes listening to them anymore... -.- this is so sad... and there are even people like: "Is this group new? I really like their songs?" and later they be like: "OH WHAT? I had no idear that they exist since 2012.... and I am a person who knows mostly all K-Pop acts who debuted since 2007..." and that is sad too... I was a fan of NU'EST even before they debuted, because a girl asked on a website (an German Q&A-website) if anyone had an idea which similar English popsong she was searching for, as she posted the trailer of NU'EST's debut but I had no idea and just wrote her: "Wow thanks for that video. I think I will listen to this group when they finaly oneday debute..." and at the same time I was a member of a German website where someone opend a topic at the same day, as NU'EST had their debut and she asked about NU'EST and within just 7 days this topic had more than 500 coments from more than 300 different people from Germany. Later they opend a "fan-club"-topic on this website for NU'EST and within just the first 3 months that NU'EST existed this topic was joined by more than 1,200 German people and the topic had more than 5,000 coments in less than 2 months... and so I thought NU'EST could become international famouse, because as EXO debuted and the same websiite opend a fanclub-topic about EXO only 300 people joined that topic in the first 3 months and just 100 coments apppeard in that topic and so I thought NU'EST was bigger than EXO at that time, but nope... it wasn't like... hm... People really forgot about NU'EST htna and that not only in Germany. I know as NU'EST was quit new and a German teenager-magazine wrote about them (in an extremly nice way, even many Germans who read the magazine know that they mostly wrote bullshit about Japanese/Korean music, to make shity people who like German/American music feel better -.-) and they even had a poster in this magazine with NU'EST in it, but than I never heard of them again, just saw their videos on KZread... people forgot about them more and more... And Pledis... at that time the last singles of Afterschool came out and than they took a bigger focus on Orange Caramel, cause Orange Caramel was the most famouse group of Pledis at that time and than they forgot about NU'EST, cause their focus was just on Orange Caramel and than they debuted Seventeen and hyped them too much, so no wonder why a lot of people who know about Pledis only be like "I liked Orance Caramel and Afterschool. I think they only have Seventeen now..." -.- They even forgot about other groups who was or are there... I don't even know anyone who knows Hello Venus and their debut was extremly good too and for example on older acts who arn't anymore there, people be like: "Who the hell is/was Son Dambi? I never heard of, even if I am listening to KPop since more than 10 years... blah blah" and this is kinda sad... (Oh and Son Dambi was extremly famouse back than as he was part of Pledis...)

I hate to admit that partly, it was the fandom's choice that most of Nu'Est's comebacks ever since Face and Action didn't became popular. Come on, no matter what genre they had, the fans should always appreciate and support them. Even if they didn't live up to expectations, as a fan, we should be happy for them, besides I personally love all of their songs even the "Sandy", "Not Over You", "Fine Girl" and "Storybook" that does not follow the established concept of Nu'Est. These videos make them more versatile, the "Hello" MV showed that they have a potential when it comes to acting, the "Sleeptalking" MV shows their quirky and fun side. If only I had the money to buy their albums, I would. But the best thing that I can do is to appreciate and support them which LO/\Es are supposed to do...:) Thank you for this wonderful video!!

no you are wrong. Pledis was broke, theres only so much a group can do with ZERO permotion. Pledis boss made beef with MNET again, blacklisting Nu'est and afterschool- MNET run MAMA awards and most of Kpop so this deeply hurt Nu'est. There comebacks where far apart. When they made nu'est M and send them to China it failed, and adding a new member for nu'est M who quickly left as killed the fandom. When they were sent to Japan for 2 years with zero updates for korean and int fans, pretty much more than half the fandom left- i dont blame fans for leaving when they have zero updates on their group who arent promoting for 2 yrs. So YES, it was 100% Pledis fault, its like Pledis Boss wanted them to die on purpose, even now, he acts like they dont exist- getting no updates on Nu'est anniversay, updates when a member is injured, or any sort of 2016 promotion what so ever

So don't simply put ALL the blame to Pledis because you (fandom) didn't want to support them. Hello, Good Bye Bye & Overcome are good songs (at least, it's not a cheesy love song with repetitive lines). so I hope people will realise their talents (they can even compose songs , man!) and vote them on Produce 101. after the show has ended, if they have any comebacks, you should also support them.

What sad about Nu'est is that their korean fanbase is too small... They could've made it big if their korean fanbase is stable. Hope they could gain a lot of fans after Produce 101.

I've been with these five amazing guys since they first debuted. It goes without saying that I'll follow them as they go on their journey. I seriously wish them all the best and I'll continue to support them! This video made me so sad and then really happy at times! EDIT: Since new fans might be joining because of produce101 can we all direct them to this video so they'll appreciate all the boys and understand and be more caring?

I'd heard of Nu'est from just being a general kpop fan but I didn't really take much notice of them (apart from when i heard overcome which is a total bop omg) until I saw them on produce 101 and i literally cried because of how sorry I felt for them and I was like RIGHT I AM JOINING THIS FANDOM AND WE ARE GOING TO SAVE NU'EST and now I really want to know how i can support them. I've watched all their MVs and stuff but I really want to do more for them. Ahhhh what to do? I don't think international fans can even vote for them on P101. I hope the show brings them more recognition and gives Pledis a kick up the ass. nu'est fighting :)

someone needs to make baekho understand that he looks amazing (I think he is the most handsome guy in the whole kpop industry, It's my opinion and I know not everyone is gonna agree.) he shouldn't lose weight or try to change anything, he is perfect. I remember when I first somehow stumbled upon "face" I couldn't stop looking him up because he looked so handsome and manly. I did start to follow them after that and I never regret it, those guys where always in my "top 5 best and favorite kpop groups of ALL time" alongside with Tvxq Exo Shine and Btob. (suju is 6th 😄). So yep baekho is perfect and I love him. this group was one of the groups who made me think differently, the song face made me understand that it's not my foult that I'm bullied and made me want to try and live the life to its fullest. I went back here after their _Where You At_ goodbye stage and... wow I can't believe this was just months ago. Now, they've won their 1st and 2nd win. If LO/\Es are already this happy for them, how much more happy were they when they finally won? They finally got what they deserve after years and years of hard work. Unfortunately, all of this came with a sacrifice _(read: Minhyun)._ When Minhyun returns, I hope NU'EST will be stronger than ever. I got to know them from Pd101 and it hurts knowing their story since this is basically how they ended up appearing on the show. But really, I'm glad Pd101 happened since they've gained quite a number of new fans from there. They deserve it and more. I'm back after a year and this makes me so nostalgic, I really thought Nu'est might disband soon back then, and seeing them hit success with two albums makes me so happy I want to cry. I hope to see Nu'est hit daebak as 5 this 2019! I'll be waiting!❤

NU'EST fans don't lose hope! I'm sure they'll have their chance to shine. It's never too late. Just as an example, Arashi, one of Japan's top idols (current top, lol) also had their share of struggles. Like NU'EST, their debut was well received but the following releases were not. Sales declined and the public slowly lost interest. Concert DVDs and PVs were shoved and releases were halted. Their younger labelmates were more liked and performed their concerts in bigger venues. Despite all of that, they continued to work hard, trained themselves, gained skills, grabbing whatever opportunity that came their way. It was not until Matsumoto Jun starred as Hana Yori Dango's Domyouji that the public took notice of them again. They debuted 1999, HYD was 2005. It was 6 long years of struggle. Thankfully, their hardship did not go to waste. Within that 6 years, they were able to develop their personalities, strengthen their camaraderie, and flamed their fighting spirits. As a result, when the people started to have interest in them, they had a lot to show and was very much ready to welcome them. This could happen to NU'EST too! Hold on~

NU'EST is one of bands that really brought me into the Kpop fandom and they hold a very special place in my heart. It breaks my heart that they don't get all the love and recognition that they deserve but they're so humble, loving, and sincere despite everything. I'm rooting for them!! this made me so emotional!! even though i'm a beginner in this fandom, this video made me fall deeper for each member. i'm so mad at myself for only paying attention to them now (mainly because of p101) and i'm glad that i joined this fandom. they've been through a lot and they deserve to be at the top because of their quality songs, exemplary talents and admirable personalities. i'm going to support them wholeheartedly from now on and show their mvs to my friends. i really wish that produce 101 could boost their popularity and make people (specially kfans) recognize how amazing they all are. this video is remind me of my past as nuest fan back then, i am used to be Love. i bought their album and vote for them. in Hello era, I felt disappointed with the change of concept, but i still support them because Hello is an amazing song and i really love them. until Pledis sudden decision to add new member for Nu'est and Nu'est-M debuted in China. i felt frustated with pledis and their i-fans (sorry). Some of their i-fans said "if you did not support nu'est new member, you are unreal fans" and i couldn't support them anymore since then. i know i was wrong but its really hard for me that time to accept everthing. Watching this video makes me crying, i realize deep in my heart i still love them. Guys, if You love Nu'est and want to help them. thank you for making Nu'Est 101 for newbie like me. I knew Nu'est when I hosted the Kwave Radio Show in one of radio station in my hometown. But I barely heard about them after "Hello" single. And suddenly they came on Produce 101 season 2. I hope after the finale, Baek Ho, Minky and Jonghyun will appear in variety show. Minki will be match with Heechul, Baekho should appear in Mukbang Variety Show and Jonghyun probably in talk show. They have good talent but less lucky. That's it. Pledis got them wrong after "Hello". They should stick to the first concept after the fanbase is solid then they can to change the concept a little bit. Their english is good. maybe because Aron taught them. They pronouce it well.

Being an army for 2 years now, watching this video made me even more of a fan of Nu'est. I've liked them a lot ever since Overcome. When I heard that they were participating in p101 I got so sad. But because of p101 i've seen their amazing personalities. Especially the one of Jonghyun. I've loved and supported BTS for some time now but after watching this video, Nu'est might be my favorite group. They need a lot more support than BTS and after seeing that even after all their hardships, having tasted fame at their debut but going down hill after every album but still staying strong and wanting to go further is just so amazing to me. They didn't give up and wanted to stay in the music industry even after their shitty company's lack of promoting. P.S. i need to find me a man like Jonghyun. Humble, extremely caring, putting others needs above himself, protecting others and still thinking that people need to blame him.. Good-looking and just plain amazing. Plus his amazing smile. What else do you want in a man?

Came here after Produce 101 S2 episode 1 aired last night. I can't rlly say I'm a major fan of NU'EST, but I believe that they're a rly great & talented group (i listened to some of their songs) and they deserve more than joining this survival show. I cried when they (a 5/6 yr old debuted group) introduced themselves as "Pledis' trainees", and even received C and D grades. Kahi even cried when she saw them abt to perform. Tho I don't rlly agree of them joining the show, I'll just look at it in an optimistic way. I'll just hope that they will have another chance to rise, cos THEY DESERVE IT. Hopefully ppl will realize and see what they're missing and recognize these boys talents. Gonna support NU'EST all the way, and hopefully y'all will too. Didn't know NU'EST before Produce 101 (wasn't really into k-pop before produce 101) but I fell in love with all of them immediately. They are so sweet, seem so genuine and they really touch me. Thank you for this guide, I truly feel part of the fandom even though I'm really new to all this. I'm sad they are really down right now, but I hope and believe they can get back on their feet and shine. I love them, and thanks again for this vid!

I came here from the article of where ppl thought that one member was dancing off beat. I came here also to understand more of what's happening to them because I don't understand why they are in 101. And I leave with only gratitude and awe for the boys and the fandom. Thank you for your hard work everybody. You have successfully turn me 5% into a LOㅅE. I'm very much curious about them now and I would like to appreciate them more. Just one question. I just want to clarify whether or not it was their choice to join 101 when the program is for the trainees.

only 5%?? haha we gotta do better than that!! we need you 100% lol as for your question, pledis released a statement earlier saying that it was their decision to join, but on the actual show they said that this was their "last chance" so i have a feeling the company kind of forced them by saying they would disband if they didn't. so, personally, i think it was their choice, but it was coerced choice

Gosh, why did I sleep on them? I remember when they realised Overcome, I watched the video and I didn't like it but now that I listen to it again, I loved it. People change a lot and I'm so sorry 😭 now they are on P101 and I'm praying for all of them to redebut.

(again) supporting Nu´est is like coming home for me.. Even if i am stuck more with other groups now, i never leaved Nu´est, i always had an ear and eye on and with them. Nu´est and Face is the reason i got into Kpop 5 years ago. No matter whom i stan now, this 5 guys are the only one, the first one, the special one. Always a big place in my heart. I am with them. always. I will always support them, always cheer for them, always love them. JR isnt at fault. He is a good leader.. PledisShit only fucked Nuest up, not JR. He shouldnt give himself any fault. Honestly i do think, that the reason Nuest still exist is JR. Its always the leader who normally hold the members together. So i think its thanks to JR them keep going. So the last who is at any fault, is he.

i feel so bad not knowing them before...i only knew them through produce 101 and as much as i feel sad by them having to participate on it i'm still thankful on the show coz if it's not for it i wouldn't know that such an inspiring and heartwarming group like them even exist...btw i love dongho for the moment...of course i love the rest of them too...i'm officialy stating that i've become a part of the fandom...i hope someday soon the group will reach success that they deserve...NU'EST fighting!!!

I cried watching this video, I can't believe how underrated they are, they deserve a lot of love and popularity. How life can be so unfair with them?

Through watching this, I realised how much Nuest loves their fans. They pay attention to the little things their fans do; It's amazing. It's a shame the public doesn't reciprocate this love. I'll be a Nuest fan from now on and will definitely purchase their next album to support their comeback. And I love Ren's attitude ~ uwa it's so cool

I hate the fact that I come to this fandom because of Produce 101. I have known them since they were a rookie. I knew them, but I neglected them. I left them for other group who is bigger than them, in both popularity and number of members (I guess you know who I mean). I hate this fact that I just come to them because of Jonghyun leadership in the latest program. I hate the fact that I only want to know them better just a few months ago. I was like "Why? Why didn't I realize that there is this group who has a real, a true friendship or more likely brotherhood between them?" I hate the fact that Minhyun is currently promoting with other group for the next one and a half year. I do understand now why it is so hard for him to leave his wonderful team. Despite of the hardship, or the way Pledis (sorry) throw them away to Japan, to Produce 101, they still encourage each other to do all things well. Yes, music has vital role for a boy group. But what else can beat the bonds between each members? I know several groups with this kind of bond like HIGHLIGHT, SHINHWA, GOT7, and I am sure Nu'est also have the strong bond like them. Adinda Alsya Denissa I completely agree, maybe that's why I used to stan Nu'est since the beginning, I saw their genuine bond, more than a kpop group they were close friends doing music, so sad that I stopped supporting them since it was hard catching up on them, their shows barely had subtitles and then with those many hiatus I started looking for other groups and now I'm here with GOT7 since I saw similarities with them, I feel bad that I'm now more active and interested again in them since PD101 😭 I really really hope they will get the recognition and success they deserve

THIS MAKES ME SO SAD~ I've been staning this group for about...3 years? And they still don't get recognized like they should....

This story is almost the same with mine for Nu'est. They impressed me so much with the first two songs just by their MVs, and yes i dont like the concept of Slep Talking but i still support them. The lack of promotion in Korea also affected me but I followed them through some Japanese MVs, esp Na Na Na. After that, i became a fan again with Overcome, this song really made me wonder why i forgot them in such a long time, but not many ppl like me, that's so sad, this is the 2nd best song besides Face in my opinion, I tried to vote for them in Korean charts but ... And now when they appeared on PD 101 to gain attention again I'm hurt so much in the begining but now they're doing well which will bring them and us a brighter future, I know this will be their "real" rebirth if we, LOVEs, try our best to support them this time. Thanks all of you so much for this video and i will def share this to anyone interested in Nu'est. This is not just a video, I mean, I can tell the deep love of the fan for the idol. I often became fan for other group when their fandom is strong but Nu'est is my first time like this, I hope I can see the feeling of seeing my idols becone great again through difficulties, like BTS fan who followed them since their debut.

I have always been interested in Nu'est, I know the members names and faces, but I never considered myself a fan. If they survive past produce 101, I'm definitely going to become a fan. These past few weeks have really showed me how much Nu'est want this, and they need their fans for that. Their popularity is skyrocketing in Korea. And who knows. Maybe with their next release, we can finally give them their first win.

wasn't familiar with nu'est before pd101. so heartbreaking to see them still unknown after 5 years. hopefully they gain recognition by being in pd101. i especially admire jonghyun, which in the last episode shows great leadership. he also went up to B class, which shows his hardwork and determination. just hoping they could make it to the final 11 and become well-known.

Nu'est has been through hell and back and people need to stop sleeping on them and appreciate that

I didn't know anything about this group until they joined Produce 101 and even though I didn't know them then, my heart broke for them because it must've been really hard for debuted idols to retract back and participate as trainees. beyond humility, they are REALLY so talented (all in their own significant ways) and so individualistic too. just wow, I've come to really, really love these boys. they deserve so much and I know it's not much but I'll be buying some of their albums and supporting them in future. thank you for this video. i cried extremely hard when jonghyun was reading out the letter to the members and even as you describe the unfortunate events that have happened wth them, it hurts more to see and hear jonghyun like that. honestly, i was broken to pieces a million times during this video, like, how didn't i knew more about them before? *inserts very wrong life choices* but, on the other hand xD i couldn't handle the fanfiction part, the cringe was real. i would've died if i knew the actual people of the fanfic are reading it, but idk if it would been of excitement or embarrassment. maybe both hehe. died when the fans were like "don't read them!" and they just went "why not?". think i'm in love already :c

I literally cried while watching this video. I've known them since debut, but I took a hiatus on KPop after Hello era. I was actually one of the people who felt kind of disappointed with the change of concept, but I still liked them and check in them from time to time. when I watch the members (minus Aron) in Produce101, my heart just break. They seem so... defeated. and you said in this video, "when Baekho doesn't smile, there must be something wrong," that's when it hit me so hard, because they don't seem like the people in this video anymore. I hope the members stay strong (especially Aron, since he's alone for now), and be able to rise again. NU'EST FIGHTING!!

I do thank you for making this video, this is precious. Personally, I think It's not their mistakes or underrated promotions at all that they aren't popular. Instead, it's just not their day!. It is true that achievement is the combination of effort, talent and hard work, but these are not enough for becoming well-known and outstanding Kpop group nowadays. Therefore, the right time and chance are also important. I'm rooting for them and that's what I always did. Luckily, four of them are now being the contestants in the competitive survival show called "Produce 101 season2" (on Mnet official channel) which is super popular in both Korea and other countries; as can be seen that there are lots of international fans supporting the previous season of this show. Nu'est, they are all talented, diligent, and charming both of their looks and minds. I am pretty sure this show can be literally seen as their biggest opportunity they have so far. omg. this video is litterally what I have wished to tell/show people even before produce 101. I was their fan since the beginning, but lol i was 12, so I wasnt "invested" in kpop. I wish I could of been with them when they struggled, but still, I am so proud of them. I remember listening to both face and goodbye, thinking both were good. and when they disappeared I had short thoughts of "where are they", and I did know well the struggles of kpop idols. I am so proud that even though they aren't doing well in sales, they do not regret being together. When I got back into kpop, I remember Nu'est, and to this day, they are my favorite group as a whole.

i became curious about NU'EST after Produce 101. I felt bad when I first head that Pledis is sending them to PD101 as trainees but as time went on in PD101, I got to know them better. It must've been so hard for them to go through this much. I already knew how Pledis treated them and again on a survival show as trainees. But Im glad Minhyun as made it to Top 11. I wish Jonghyun also has made it to the Top 11, he was such a good leader. Every team he lead became a success. I hope he has regained his confidence as the leader of NU'EST. I HOPE PEOPLE LOVE AND SUPPORT THEM BECAUSE I WILL. :')

who was that MC/Reporter who was doing some offensive joke by telling them that they are less popular than their contemporaries EXO and BTOB then compared them to Seventeen. That was rude AF. WOW.

Woow it is just amazing how unfair their lives were... Even that they had amazing comebacks the fans were sleeping on Nu'est.. It is definitely sad and incredible how from one comeback to the other they were doing even worst... Pledis it's really shitty entertainment. Pledis should pay more attention for Nu'est and try hard to promote them well. Very soon it will be Nu'est's 6nd anniversary and they are not even together as 5 members because of Produce101. Of course in somehow P101 was good because Nu'est got more attention and fans but they did that as Nu'est W without Minhyun.. It is unbelievable that from good start they nearly disbanded and then they are doing fantastic now again. I am so proud of Nu'est as a L.O./\.E and I'm happy that I stan such an amazing group. Please support Nu'est. If you can afford buy their album and digital music. If can please purchase the Melon pass (melon.com about 13 USD for a month of streaming and downloading), this is their last chance and this will save Nu'est. I hope all 4 can get in the 11th on Produce 101 but I'm afraid not all 4. If their music on Melon is streaming there will be definitely a lifesaver and a second chance for them. Currently it is streaming in Korea and people starting to recognize them but they need international fans too. A 13USD will save the team from heartbroken and disband. Please support Nu'est. N.Y H.M Yes, you can download the songs to your pc or phone. Let's say if you get the 30 songs package, you can download 30 songs and unlimited streaming any songs. it is actually cheaper 50% cheaper than buying from itunes.

Even though I agree that pledis didn't promote them well but at least I'm thankful that pledis didn't disband them.. most companies would disband their groups right away when they are facing failure. That shows that pledis actually still have hopes in them, pledis would rather make them compete in produce 101 (which is quite embarrassing for them but still do it anyway because pledis wants to save nuest) than disband them.. so thankyou pledis for not giving up on nuest☺️

shannen patricia they basically has 7-years contract with Pledis. they came to produce 101 grab the very smallest hope to save their group, all of them said them on interview. "Company already gave up on us.", "because i think this is the end(of nuest)". they love each other much so they didn't want to end(nuest). this year is their 5th.
