Thanks for the review. Those straps at the back of the seat are designed to go over the bar of the seat to hold the seat in place. You will want those in place if your kayak flips because it will keep the seat connected to the kayak.

Nice video. Glad to see someone with some sense about them. So many people on here are into consumerism. They run their jaws a mile a minute about every little detail of every little thing and it is just ridiculous.
