Did you do it?
What a *wonderful* report! When I was growing up in Brooklyn, NY many MANY moons ago, our neighborhood had many such malt shops though not quite as classy as this one. What a great thing to have in your neighborhood. Really adds to the vitality and quality of life in every city/town. I hope that some day we as a society return to the days of wholesome living where people partake of good stuff like this rather than waste away in taverns and speed shops.

Looks soooo good
Old is gold
Wish we had a place like this where I live, I would go inside and ask for a real cream soda
We don't have that recipe, but you could come visit Olde Towne Slidell and ask Mr. Frank! :)
I'll have a big ass icecream bowl there 👌
Feel like people being dressed up would make it better
Good stuff! well done!!

Could you post your recipe for an old fashioned vanilla milk shake. The recipes I find are milk, ice cream vanilla and these are not the vanilla milk shakes from the 1960,s. Reply
I wish I had one near me ... but I say I live in the most boring state in the world😟
