Thank you for this old time radio Boston Blackie. In June l had my last older brother Steve died and my cat Lawrence died on my dad's birthday June 25 as my brother was buried the day before. All three loved old time radio shows. My cats always relaxed when playing these old time radio shows. The old time organ music with the great scripts with fantastic radio actors and actresses keep their attention. I find my them very relaxing after a long day. OMG Ok ❤️❤️❤️ the organ, it does possess great personality. Not so sure about the phrase "The organ with personality." Reminds me of how saying a girl had a great personality used to be code for no looks at all.

Forget the stories, just have a compilation of the lovely organ music, LOL.

Hi!I keep forgetting to tell you thx for listing the shows and where they are in the playlist. Yr the Only one that does it. Its such a huge help. Keep up the great job 👍.

Looking back it looks like 5th Ave along Central Park, aside from Central Park west, it's the late 40s or early 50s.I ride the same route.

What does it mean when they say a program is "transcribed" in Hollywood? That's not something I've heard before I started listening to old radio.

Transcribed was just a fancy industry way of saying the show was pre-recorded vs. being live. Thanks for tuning in to our transcribed programing! 🙂

You always reply to us or post a like. Also, why do they say (paraphrasing) That no characters, names etc are taken from real life & are strictly for the show. Ha! Thats the worst paraphrasing. But do you know what I'm referring to? I love the detective stories. Not much into the organ but I just skip ahead. No worries. Thx for all u do to keep us entertained. Have a super day.
