Фильм және анимация

These are some cool old fashioned clothes pins. Also I'm showing my mothers homemade clothes pin bag made of heavy gauge canvas.

Thanx for sharing..🥰seeing things like this literally brings me to that era everytime...I've got to figure out how to make the "nail head"pin(googling proper name for those) into a 1:12 scale miniature for my 1930's era farmhouse, just a Granny lives there tending to her homestead!

I remember those! My grandparents used an old maytag then hung the laundry. Just googled their house and the lines and poles are still in the yard!

Yes, I'm from the old school. I would hang out the clothes winter and summer. The diapers and clothes would freeze dry quickly from the cold winter winds from the Valley in Washington and I've used these old type clothes pins and will start using these clothes pins again. I've never stopped hanging clothes on the line but was using the cheap fall a part clothes pins of today. That will probably be my next video. How to put these clothes pins back together after they fall apart. We almost bought a house in a development that had restrictions about hanging out clothes. Now isn't that a crock. We will someday have to go back to the old ways as the new ways are costing many people to lose their homes and everything. Thanks for watching. Added note: We also had an old wringer washer with no laundry tubs. I would wash the clothes, run them through the ringer, pile them on the table and then put them back in the washer to rinse them. That was the good ole days.

I used to go to my aunt's for a visit in the summer and I had to run like a turkey to the outhouse as their turkey would flop anyone it could. Finally they cooked the turkey's goose and had it for dinner. We had a 49 Ford that I would pump the clutch and my husband would push the car to get it started. We bought it for $100.00. Oh, how we wish he had that car now.

Old style one piece clothespins are relatively easy to make or can be bought through Amazon, Red Hill General Store, etc.

I accurately used my mother's old clothes pin when I washed clothes last. They grip heavier clothes better and hold clothes better on the line. Thanks for the info.

I borrowed some of the old style clothespins so that I can make clothespin cookies.. My neighbor says “do not wash them” I feel gross putting my cookie dough on these pins & not washing.. Will it hurt them if I give ‘em a quick rinse?

I never heard of not being able to wash and rinse clothes pins. When I drop them on the floor I wash them. I really don't know if that shortens their life or not. I just pin them on the clothes line in the basement to dry.

How much for your round old pins with no clasp? :)

Thank you for liking them. I really like them too as they are my mother's old clothes pins and I keep them in a canvas clothes pin bag my mother made for me. Eventually, as the clip clothes pens all fall apart I will always have the real deal as a back up and for sentimental value. Thanks for watching.
