    Its nice to see a more recent tutorial for the Maddog X as I am relearning the Maddog to get back into it. Having worked on MD-80's many years ago it is one of my favorite planes. If you dont mind a little feedback I will add a few notes. It may be a GSX thing but if I remember correctly you should do the Emergency Light Test with the FA during your cold start. The ignition systems consist of two independent systems, A and B. You start on either one (airline SOP will dictate but I used to alternate systems between flights), then place it either Auto or Off. If you leave it in A or B, the ignition is constant. The last point I will mention, and this is purely a realism thing, but it would have been great if you were to cover the FLEX takeoff mode for the engines. Im sure you know that reduced EPR takeoffs are the norm for engine wear and fuel consumption purposes. Thanks for taking the time to share this info on all the updates that Leonardo has added along the way. This is a great overview/refresher video.

    I can make a more realistic and comprehensive cold and dark start up video, I skipped tests on purpose because I wanted to make things a little simpler for new MaddogX owners. Thanks for the tip on the ignition system I don't know why I thought system A or B was for takeoff. If I do get around to that video I'll brief and perform a flex takeoff for sure, I've done it before and it's a neat feature. Thanks for the nice comment :)

    @@aggamingaung2632 It's in the load manager, under airline options. Some liveries come with the efb selected on some don't. But if you want it you can toggle it through that.

    N or A on flight plans is Normal or Alternate.

    @@ethanmacaleese4207 BTW. I just learned a bit more about it. Apparently, if you choose A, the order of which tanks drain first changes to wings first, center last, which is needed for extreme cold flying, where the low temperatures are more likely to freeze the fuel in the wings, so you want to use up that fuel first. The longer you’re aloft, the more likely the fuel could freeze, as you can see from the fuel filter temp as it drops over time.
