Btw, if somebody even care: Model isn't N3-1008 It is ИЭ-1008 Where is И for инструмент (instrument) and Э for электрический (electrical) So it is "Electrical Instrument - 1008" If you want, I also found a description for this drill and can tell you more details:)

I love how you left the hardware the way it is. You took immense amounts of time and care to restore every other piece, but you made a creative decision to leave the those screws untouched. Maybe I'm looking to deep into it, but I feel like that small touch shows respect to the tool and the restoration process. Again, love the video! Thanks for sharing.

I’ve come up with the theory that this is actually HowToBasic’s brother. They both exist as the yin and yang of POV, hands only KZread videos. I am so impressed with your skills to be able to take this drill apart and then put it back together. I understand why you put the screws back in because I am guessing the owner wanted ALL ORIGINAL PARTS with the exception of the cord. Great Job its beautiful and you are truly a skilled tradesman. It was not "N3-1008" model, but "ИЭ", sounds like EE-AE, came from first 2 letters of "Electrical Instrument"- "Инструмент Электрический". Electric Instrument model 1008. smth like that. Great restoration work, btw.

The unpolished screws are a nice touch that keep the old age of the device. You really restored this to a delish crisp! Meanwhile, in an unmarked grave in Siberia, Comrade Augustin in smiling peacefully knowing that his favorite drill begins a new life.

With the green it makes it look more friendly lol.

в этой дрели всё отличного качества и надолго, кроме кондеров БМ, из-за них она как раз и могла бить на корпус. А что его не дернуло после сборки, так может из-за того, что он шевелил их выводы

This guy: works for hours refurbishing stuff Us: only sees 19 minutes of it (and some ppl don’t appreciate ppl that do this enough) Note: not a hate comment for those ppl who think it is, it’s a comment saying some ppl don’t appreciate the literal hard work that goes into the video)

Он мог подумать, что это такой отличительный знак производителя, мол он специально букву N в обратную сторону пишет.

Это был ручной ДЕФИБРИЛЛЯТОР, а он взял и дрель сделал. Ну что за люди??

@Client, it wasn't cheap, the soviets had Japan/Western/USA licenses for a lot of tech./design. And it worked brilliantly when it was made. Like 60 years ago.

@@clientcomun1958 Its like 1960 drill. Its cost was circa 25 roubles. Almost quarter of average monthly salary. Quite an expensive but quality tool for its time. Something you can leave to your grandsons, not $10 junk from Walmart.

Купив любой инструмент сделанный в СССР, восстановив его получишь ещё столько же лет службы от него. Хорошая работа. Каждый кому не лень про ржавые болты написал, но мне кажется это специальнл было)

обратите внимание на конструкцию дрели: щетки меняются не разбирая корпус. Автору: все хорошо сделал, но вот ржавые винты в конце подпортили впечатление.
