Old Snake Theme - Guitar Only Mix (MGS4)
Музыка
[SMOKING IS BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH]
decided to upload this since i can't find the original video by The Man That Never Was.
i shortened the audio and normalized the volume for everyone planning to use this in a video or something since the original video was almost twenty minutes and was painfully loud.
in case anyone wants an extended version, KZread has a looping button on mobile or you can right click and hit loop on PC.
MGS4's Soundtrack was composed by Harry Gregson-Williams, along with Nobuko Toda, Shuichi Kobori, Kazuma Jinnouchi and Ennio Morricone.
Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots belong to Konami, no Copyright was intended.

@@complicoseme I mean I haven't play MGS 4 ... yet...but when I watched the "MG4 the movie" and after I played MG3, MGS2 and trying to figure out my emulator to play MGS1, I know how must he feel after 56 years - designed to kill, designed to die by patriots, but the "Old killer, that never was, never will be a hero" must rest as a hero for us...I really want to see a remaster of whole series in 4K or more prequels or just stories about character from MGS/MGR series. Beacause The Solid saga has ended - Snake is dead Big Boss too, venom and Liquid as well, only raiden left. So yea...

@@complicoseme This. MGS4, despite what people say, is not "just a glorified movie", and you shouldn't just go watch a playthrough on KZread. The game is really good. The stealth mechanics, while not having the survival element of MGS3, are polished to near perfection. And like you said, you're enduring Snake's journey through gameplay. At least it's not as bad as watching an MGS story recap, something I sadly did and it definitely dulled my experience of the games.

@@complicoseme I watched a playthrough of MGS 2, as well as Snake Eater. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I loved what I saw, and I decided I wanted to play them myself after watching someone else. Sadly, because of financial reasons, I can only afford the Xbox 360 versions. So, I got the Trilogy disc that was for Xbox. Put it in, loaded up MGS 2. The experience was far different than just watching it. It felt amazing, the controls, the mechanics, playing the game myself, going about it my own way. Watching and playing are two separate experiences. You can watch as many videos on the games as you want, but if it affects your gameplay, that means your playing how _that person you watched_ played. Your suppose to go in and play how _you_ want to. And if your experience was somehow ruined by watching those 'gameplay movies' or whatever you saw, then to be honest, that means you don't seem to be in it to experience it for yourself anymore. I've watched tons of gameplay of other games before I owned them, to get into the story they have, or to see how fun they are, and when I played them myself, it's always been a different experience than watching. I don't know if that's just how some people experience things, but it's always unique to me, when I try it after watching it.
The older I get the more I have begun to relate to this. It speaks of the weight of existing in a cruel world. It being far more cruel to snake than most.

As you lose your humanity the more numb to fear you become, because there is less of you to lose.
I lived a life that wasn't even my own. raised under the name of david Trained by my father were the man that I thought was. Enlisted far too young And yet I served my country with privilege and pride. I completed many duties many of which honestly are things that I regret. And so now in the twilight of my life I make the effort to change. To do better. If they claim I was meant to be the ultimate soldier. Well the ultimate soldier is the one who saves people From the horror of war. And that is a duty I will gladly follow until my dying breath. I only hope that when I die younger generations will learn better. embrace life. not take up the hand on the knife or pistol. Live in peace and fear war. If I can say This it is because I lived in the time of war and I feared the coming of peace. Mothers. never let your young boys grow up to be soldiers.

I slightly understand some of Old Snake. I have two slipped discs in my lower lumbar and they are deteriorating. I have a part of my self that is dying. I feel old. I can't move correctly but I'm young. I know the pain of wanting to move the way you used to but your body screams NO. I understand. That is why I reluctantly relate to him. It sucks. I feel like an old man, having to go around everywhere with a cane, I cant stoop. I can't wash myself unless my wife helps. It is completely humiliating and agonizing for the fact that I can't do it on my own. I wish that I could be like Old Snake and not need anyone. I wish I could be a story character. Reality isn't so great. We get no super heroes.

Sadly, MGS1, 4, and Phantom Pain are forever blocked from me. I don't ever have enough money to come even close to getting the System for them, and whenever I do, it's pulled elsewhere to pay for something else. I'm relegated to only being able to experience them through the eyes and gameplay of others on KZread. It makes me sad, since the only PS games I even got to enjoy were a few Crash Bandicoot games, and the first Spyro Game. My sister threw out her PS2, and I didn't even get to object about it, didn't even get the chance to offer taking it instead of her just throwing it away.
