It's because that's when people cared about what they made even when there was no profit involved. When dedication was a thing and there was shame upon actual bad games. Never in history were people lazier and more careless than now, that's why there's barely quality left. These games are one example among the few things left from then, the voice of an era. Quality > Quantity

i faintly remembered the games i played when i was 7-9 years old on our telephone internet connection. this one was amazing along with train traffic control, demolition city, park my train, fireboy and water girl, etc. etc. etc. i wanted to play them all again but chrome is fucking with adobe to remove flash and other browser dosent handle flash well

for flash games install firefox and then go to the site with the game. then right click view page info and then find the .swf file and save as on desktop. thats how to get the game and now you will need the flash player get it here www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/debug_downloads.html then download latest and finally open the the swf file with the flash player! Enjoy. My final suggestion is that you should get as many flash games downloaded by december 2020 because it ill dye out.

Ok so first go to sites.google.com/view/legacyshockwave/home then go to the shockwave tab and scroll down to Xform (I think) the n click on this game and download the files. Then u need a shockwave player and game load u can get game load at its official website but the shockwave player I'm not sure where I got it so just look up shockwave player. If u installed all of that then run the file with the game load logo in the game package that you downloaded. And if it tells you to "find the game" just click on the folder of the game and click on the "game" or "trafficslam" file with the black box icon. Done! Have fun! If you get an error with some random numbers or telling you that some file is missing try reinstalling shockwave player.

We need to preserve this game as long as we can!

This is essentially a Burnout 3 clone. Also, I think the people at Xform are fans of Riding Bean/Gunsmith Cats since some of the sounds like the car sounds are in one scene in Riding Bean and the car in the game (1967 Shelby GT500) is featured prominently in both Riding Bean and Gunsmith Cats (the former has a Shelby used by the villain Percy while the latter has a Shelby used by the protagonist Rally Vincent).
