Too the old skool ravers big up everybody I met from 88 89 till 2005 these years were without doubt the best of my life I met some many really good people from all over the uk iam 56 now..lol who over came up with the saying that life is short was a friggin genius seems like yesterday I was out on one.. I truly miss it and everybody that lived thu it like me will understand we had something really special that will never be repeated but luckily we were there.... bless all the ravers from the uk hope everybody is safe and well 😊

I just couldn’t say it better you’ve said everything I wanted you to say get across, everyone strangers became best friends it was history I knew back then I was in something special just didn’t realise how special how amazing it actually was as it just kept getting better & better I miss these days you thought they would last forever and keep getting better but something just stopped it once we hit mid 2000’s I knew I was in history but never imagined how classic and great it wiukd become as those nights in nightclubs and races even having them banging in your car stereo what a time it’s hard for this generation to understand the love and memories that were created because of now this classic music it does feel like yesterday it really fkn does, waking up in a lass’s bed no idea how you got there quietly putting ya shoes on and asking strangers in the street where am I 😂 having to get bus back home 😂 😂 just epic memories tunes that stuck in ya head you’d do anything to get your hands on a certain remix then the coppers trying to shut down ya races even though it would be in a field owned by no one and you just ran 😂 it was pure love for everyone, this dude here says it better than me it’s impossible to out these days 89-2002 into words a priceless time, we called it the “Second Summer Of Love”

Can’t believe this these were tunes back then and still are. These are better than the junk kids nowadays listen too

I love R&B (from 1980s - 2000ish) I love Hip-hop (up to 2000ish) I love 80s UK Dance music I even love a bit of Rock & Pop But UK Garage will always be my favourite music. It was my favourite back in the day and still is. There must be a lot of 40-50 year olds like me who mourn the death of this music.

Stu Duncan 1982 here :-) yes growing up with this music was legendary. Uk garage got me into mixing. Fun fact, I was taught to mix by Scratchy d. He was a garage dj before becoming a grime mc. When I first got decks and had little vinyl, he used to leave his radio record box at my house. Felt so good having loads of the best beats to mix. I wish he kept up dj'ing as he could mix so smooth. I was always amazed how good he was. Especially the way he could mix any wookie tune with practically anything. I might even have an old mix tape or 2 somewhere. I'm gonna dig out my old tapes.

This mix is more than OK to listen to. Let's all go back to 96 together eh? Shame the scene went VERY dark and nasty. R. I. P UKG.
