I feel sorry for the girls. They just can't seem to win with some of the kpop fans. When Batter Up was released some people were complaining that it was too "YG", with comparisons to 2NE1 and BlackPink. Now people are complaining that it's a ballad and all in English. Also that it's so different from Batter Up. It seems like they can't catch a break.

Lol people are so fickle these days. Nothing seems to make people happy anymore... I liked Batter Up a lot, and I love Stuck In The Middle. I'm glad they aren't sticking to one sound.

I disagree with the Blackpink comment. Songs were written with the singing voices of the group in mind. I am sure Blackpink could sing this song easily but they will have a different feel. Why? BP voices are lower and have a different tone quality especially Jennie.
