Howard University and its hip students! I was there from 1986-1993! Many of the Chicago Students helped the school! I am graduate, and even attended some Georgetown Parties! The music was dynamic at the "Ritz" Club! Yes, VP Kamala Harris graduated from there in 1986 ( not sure if she likes House)!

I'm a big rock fan, but a good DJ friend introduced me into house music and I'm a so grateful for that. It's so sofisticated

i really love old deep house. like around 2005 - 2015. so much different takes on it. today its like one deep house style with the same deep bass and the same down pitched voices.

Driving after midnight in a 1988 black M3 E30, the treble hitting the highs and the bass hitting the lows. Cowbell - rotary mixing - life is good. Soothing ecstasy to the hears. Lost lovers delight. The feel good factor 100% - Now I'm 42 - collecting old classics as nothing really beats selecting the vinyl and using the mixer. Living the dream.

This is the kinda music i like to blast when driving through the night. My job involves driving cars often times across the entire country so for example 2200 to 0600 roadtrips arent that uncommon and finding something like this to listen makes it quite fun

This is so Saturday 3am late nite NYC deep underground 90s. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

Sucks that one has to dig through all this tropical/future house shit to find this. Great job!

Gosh no matter how many times I see pictures like this one. It makes me feel so free.. Like I can grab life with my palm and do whatever I want. Amazing feeling ...

When I first moved to NYC this is the type of music that was being played in many of the clubs downtown. It seems like a certain time frame from '93 to '96 where the best house music was being created. I could be wrong but this is what I remember. 21:15 to about 27:00 is amazing music to me.

It totally makes me relaxed and meditated.

The opening beat is very classic old skool hip hop. This is what we would listen to driving home after clubbing from 10pm to 4am. It was a good wind down song.

Can't help you w/NYC, my late 80's - early 90's were spent in the lofts and warehouses of Chicago. I'll never forget the floors bouncing so much from people dancing, at one particular Milwaukee Ave. spot, that I was afraid we'd all fall through. It was a truly revolutionary time for me and has inspired me in so many ways. I still have the Technics 1200MkIIs I saved for and bought at age 14, and all of my vinyl. Those were the good times.

Finally, some actual deep house.. not that bass drop EDM full of sappy vocals. A+ mix!

Love this computer music. It's funny because what I love about electronic music is the heavyness of low frequencies, when it smashes you with a lot of groove in a loud sound system. Besides that, what a experience is to appreciate different styles, specially older, emotional ones.

It's like a time machine and I feel like 20 years younger.

Takes me back! Awesome memories! Great work with these tunes.
