Awesome playlist, but terribly greedy: An add every 15 minutes! And they aren't the 30sec skiable ones. A shame, since its obvious that some listeners may play this doing something were they can't skip the long ass adds. You could do better man. Still, awesome playlist

I am not Italian, none of my family have Italian blood. But my father loves Italian music, movies and cultures. Even when I was still a baby, he'd turn up Italian songs from his cassett and he'd dance with me in his arms. I'm 20 now, if I ever get married, I'd want my dance with my papa to be one of these songs.

This reminds me of summer 1983 in the school holidays. I'd have a glass or ten of white wine, big plate of chips, fishcakes and a bit of coleslaw, jump in the pool for a while then watch _Bergerac_ . Muriel from the Peppermill restaurant would come over to use my microwave, and then we'd have a vegetable CupaSoup, plant some watercress in eggshells with funny faces drawn on them.

I haven't visited every country on earth, but so far Italy is my favorite. I did an inter rail around south Europe back in 2011 when I was 21 years old. The moment I crossed the France-Italy border on the train and got out in Ventimiglia... words cannot describe the beautifulness, the magic of that moment. Warm colors, vespas everywhere, Italians speaking and laughing, it was so good. Then I went to Rome, Sapri, Sicily and Venice. I will never forget that trip. Unfortunately I haven't gone back.

I discovered the heady, addictive, “Italian Summer” 60 years ago as a teenager. What an experience! The handsome boys in their sports cars, languid dinners at cafes; it was magical and now a precious nostalgic memory.
22 longing for the time that this played all the time. The other night I went to a show and I dressed up in my long black coat, shiny new boots, collared shirt, and all groomed. While waiting for the show to start Piccioni started to play for around 20 minutes and it felt so cool to get a glimpse of how our grandparents used to feel. I wish our generation was more into older generations culture. Not saying that Im always "Classy" but man did it feel good
All the good summer vibes + Italian feelings + the touch of the 70's. It's like being in a movie.
1960’s playboy music, Ferraris, vino, classy loafers, smedley knit, olympian deluxe raybans, close haircut, beautiful women, the epitome of cool….what a dreamer i am!!!❤️
I play this at least once a week and everytime I look at the image, I kinda get sad , that the moments the people in the picture had are long gone and now they are all either dead or old now. We have a brief moment here and those pictured were young once and its all come to pass. The music just adds so much more melancholy to it, but also a positive vibe too.
I don't watch movies anymore, but this makes me want the picture to come alive and see a story about a rich, spoilt American-Italian boy in the 1960s. He's on holiday in Italy, to visit his rich grandmother with his family, when he meets a sweet natured, poor village girl who loves her life and thinks he has no substance. Despite his parents' threats and the scorn of his high society, they fall in love, all set to this music. Dreamy! The song changed, and I imagined the end of the movie, where they're lazily living by the aqua seashore in a cute little village house, chickens pecking the ground, as they have breakfast outside. His parents disowned him, and he's making a living by working for his father-in-law ... making & selling gelato (lol!), but the happy couple are happy indeed. He pours her coffee, lounges back to continue reading and puts his feet up next to hers. Without a word, they "play footsies" ever so slightly. And keep reading. A horn beeps, their eyes flash to meet. He checks his watch, frowning. "They're early." "Good," she says, and stretches her hands down beside her, lifting up a baby. "Come meet your uncle and aunty!" Oh, dear, I have to stop. I want to write this whole script. The music, the setting, the 60s fashion, the upside down Cinderella story ... Probably so cliche, but I'd watch this movie a million times.
