It's a very nice elevator, I did not see a traveling cable beneath the cab however. I think this might be a winding drum elevator, because of the two hoist ropes on the counterweight, and being spaced out a considerable distance. Most traction elevators have between 4-6 hoist ropes, and are anchored to the counterweight in a bundle. Or spaced the same distance as the number of groves on the driven sheave on the traction machine., and then anchored.

Interesting. The inner doors looks very old and i think they have been installed the same time as the R-series buttons, so this tells me this elevator has been modernized in the 70's or 80's - and not since. Maybe the original elevator is from the 40's or something and it probably had a manual gate in it before

Yes, the door was manually! The bay doors have been replaced! But most of it is still original!
