You are not a mechanic, you are an artist-restorer! And the result of your work, a work of art! Thanks for the aesthetic pleasure!

Quelle satisfaction de voir le résultat. L'electroportatif Makita de l'époque était d'une robustesse incroyable

Great job!!! I took some working technicians myself. Thank you!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Invest in a sandblaster and paint both sides of pieces. Buff and shine metal parts, these things take you to the next level! Keep up the good work!
Hermano, llevaba tiempo ya que no observaba tus excelentes trabajos de restauración de herramientas... Te Felicito. Saludos y un Fuerte Abrazo Virtual desde Venezuela

Wow great job 👏 you your best 👌
As usually great job! i love the simplicity. was that black nob made out of plastic? just like car bumpers per harder obviously? try with a heatgun o a torch, it will "burn" the outside layer and bring out a new one. try it before with another one...! congrats
You are super creation from the old one
You are very unique mechanic and you are very unique artist and God bless you brother ameen.

Mine is identical but I have had it many years. Some of the Makita stuff you restore are of a different colour for some reason.

We seem to get a different colour for the UK market.
Show 👏👏👏👏👏💯👌👌👍👍🇧🇷
Love the restoration. I do have one question though? Why go through the body filler process on the cast parts? They did not come perfect from the factory, and since they seem to be aluminum, why bother? I mean, it is your choice, but I always wonder. It is only cosmetic and not original. If it is to make it look better and makes you happy, you do you. I am just curious. And just to reiterate, awesome work.
Aaaaaaaah, makita, what a brand.
Класс 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍

Teniendo en cuenta que tiene unos 45 años, está muy bien...

It’s gonna be nuts in the future when these repairs are done by robots.

Very nice the only thing you did not restored is pneumatic impact wrench
@gear_show

Thank you! You want to see about pneumatic impact wrench?
Will you convert this router to a 18v one? Or maybe a 36v?
👍😉
It's possible converting to cordless power? I imagine it will be 2x 18V like Makita 36V . Or maybe just 18V w/ 21700 2p or 3p ?😁

"Cummutator" hahahaha I died with that one
16:04 резьбу правят на разобранном устройстве, потом тщательно чистят. Иначе эта пыль и опилки попадут под щётки, на коллектор.
Little disappointed you didn't go with the Makita Turquoise
I see, I use sand papers, to sand on the part on the metals motor 's .. smoothly circle's ....
Tunggu video Cordlessnya 👍👍👍👍👍💕

Thats quite an awkward chuck. Any options for replacing it?
@djamelhamdia134
2 жыл бұрын
That's a "collet" chuck, it can hold only one specific diameter, in this case 6mm and all router bits are 6mm, thus, it can't be replaced.
Good job just a few helping hands for your repair jobs, list below. I think the wrong bearing were fitted, speed rating not high enough for this router. 13:53 and 14:26 Bearings were fitted very roughly. 15:34 The commutator was not smooth enough and the brushes not fitted correctly. 16:03 Rethread hole before cleaning NOT after assembly.
Love the fact that there is a circular saw style grip in it. If real. Thats the worst design ever. I cant think of many purposes that would come in handy
