I love those corn fritters with the butter. It's one of favorite places to eat when down in the Smokies.

The Old Mill is our all time favorite place to eat in Pigeon Forge. We go there everytime that we are in the smokies. The corn fritters with the maple butter is so good. The corn chowder is wonderful. I always get the chicken and dumplings. That is my favorite there. We really like sitting by the window too. It is our favorite spot because you can watch the ducks and look over the river while you eat. There is no better place to eat in all of Pigeon Forge than The Old Mill. You guys have made us so hungry for it now. At dinner besides all you can eat mashed potatoes and dessert you also get a salad as well. You can also do share a plate where you both can eat of the same entree and they both enjoy the all you can eat sides. They don't advertise it but you can ask for it. It will save you money.

This is my favorite restaurant! Now I'm craving the Old Mill, can't wait till December.

We go here every time we are in the area. We have always enjoyed our meals also. We live up on the Plateau about 1 1/2 away. We drove over for lunch for our anniversary. We only came to eat then turning around for home. Our waitress surprised us with a piece of chocolate cake on the house. She was so sweet! Old Mill has a special place in my heart because of her❤

The Old Mill Restaurant has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Servers are certainly kind and the food is simply delicious! Sometimes you have to wait to get a table, but it is so worth the wait! Both of your meals looked incredibly awesome. Your food review of this restaurant was spot on! Keep up the nice videos.

We Al’s enjoy eat the Old Mill, I like to dip the fritters in the chowder YUM ! The food is so hearty I find myself full after having the chowder and soup. I always take leftovers with me when I leave 😅

What a fun lunch, when I saw that pot pie on the menu I knew you were gonna pick that Dawn….I love chicken pot pie and that definitely looked delish!!!!.. Love The Old Mill. Had a window seat and enjoyed a beautiful flock of Geese flying by. Food was very good. Want to try the Turkey and dressing. TY....thought it was noisey.

Love this place, it’s where we eat on every visit to the Smokies & we recommend it to everyone !!! Food is always so delicious there but you guys are missing out on the best part of the mashed potatoes…. the brown gravy, it’s so good, we even order extra ! You need to to try their gravy on those mashed potatoes!!

We went there on Thursday afternoon and there lunch was awesome! Their country fried chicken is delicious . It all tasted wonderful and we were able to buy a whole pecan pie.

@Beverly Wildman I lost a brother too (he was only 32 years old). We had a lot of fond memories of visiting the Smokies when we were kids. At first, I could not bare to even make a trip to the mountains because it brought back so many memories of him. But in time...I managed to get through the grief, and now I go just because of him. I know he would want me to go and enjoy all our favorite things for him. So pack up your bags, and take off to the mountains. Do it in remembrance of him. I'll be keeping you in my prayers......as I know where you're coming from. God bless you and your family. ❤

Evinrude, you just made my night. I appreciate your kindness and encouragement. I have plans to go tomorrow and also plans to go in a couple weeks with my sister in honor of our brother. Our plan is to go eat at Old Mill Restaurant where he loved to be. I’m sure we will both cry and maybe not even be able to eat a bite, but we will try!!! My absolute FAVORITE Place to eat. They are most always a wait. Long ones on busy days so that says all you need to know. You can’t please everyone. If you’re a pizza, Burger person all the time then Southern food probably isn’t for you. The corn chowder is our favorites. When our kids were little I’d have to buy extra… if I’m not mistaken super coms with a side salad, dessert, bread & the mashed potatoes & green beans are all you can eat. But it’s too much food for a normal person. Lunch is perfect!! Their fried chicken is the best ever!! Green beans are so good. I despise can green beans so they taste nothing like canned. The potatoes are homemade a lady there told me they run them through something to get them that smooth.. Id pick old mill over a steak house ANY day…

We tried to go to Old Mill on Saturday afternoon but the wait was 45 minutes to an hour and that was about 2 in the afternoon. We left and went somewhere else. I sure missed that corn chowder. I was drooling watching you all eat it. 😂

The Pottery House Cafe and Grill across the street is our favorite restaurant in that part of town.

I’ve been ordering the pancake mix & corn chowder from the website. They take great care in packaging & it’s sent out quickly.

I've never heard anybody say Southern the way you do..lol...suthe ren....lol...I was born and raised in TN. I've always said it like Suthurne.... cracks me up. Now I can't stop saying it the way you do..smh

We ate breakfast there Friday on our way home and it was my favorite breakfast of the week

That's a very good restaurant. Their corn chowder is wonderful. I think their potatoes are more creamed than mashed, and I love that because my family makes creamed potatoes ❤️ I also like the shops they have around there, especially the ice cream shop🤫

We used to go to there every time we would come in town. But the last few times we ate there, the food quality had gone way down. The potatoes aren't homemade anymore. I would get the chicken livers and they were fried like hockey pucks the last time. We would sub out the green beans and potatoes because they didn't taste homemade at all. We have decided not to eat there anymore.
