Forestella's renditions are never boring, you can listen to them singing Despacito, Bad Romance, Legends Never Die, Time In A Bottle, Shape Of You, Sweet Dreams, Scarborough Fair in each song the honour the original artist but make the song their own. Their crossover music are also beautiful and sends shivers down my spine. Songs like Parla Piu Piano, Dell Amore Non Si Sa, In'Ultra Vita. Hope you enjoy more of their music.

Their group name is a mixture of "forest" and the Latin/Italian word "stella", which means star. So Forestella means a forest of stars. Their names from left to right in this video: Ko Woorim (classically trained bass), Kang Hyungho (countertenor and rock voice, no vocal training), Cho Mingyu (tenor and leader of the group), Bae Doohoon (tenor, musical actor). Each of the members has a great voice, but their harmony when they sing together is outstanding. I hope to see more reactions to them on your channel. You can't go wrong with any of their performances. Some recommendations: Hijo de la luna, Je suis malade, Spread Silk on my heart, Inner universe, Time in a bottle, Nella Fantasia and of course their own beautiful songs like "Save our Lives" (the music video is a cinematic masterpiece) or "White Night".

To be honest, Sir, I sang Bohemian rhapsody my entire life, love it but never truly understand the meaning of the song, which is my bad😅 since I listen it sang by forestela, mainly when the counter tenor sing "sometime wish I never been born at all" , I wept 😢. Korean Crossover Male Quadruple Vocal Group He made his debut in the second half of 2017 when he won the final of Phantom Singer Season 2, a male quadruple crossover group formation program broadcast on JTBC. Prior to his appearance on Phantom Singer, Bae Doo-hoon was a musical actor and guest vocalist of the fusion Gugak band AUX, and Kang Hyung-ho was a researcher at the chemistry company and vocalist of the office worker rock band PITA. Cho Min-gyu was preparing to study in Europe by taking a master's course at the tenor graduate school, and Go Woo-rim was a third-year undergraduate at the music college. They, who were not related to each other, formed a team through a competition process and made their debut by winning the final.

***HyungHo used his degree in chemical engineering to become a Research Chemist at a huge petrochemical company for 4 years while part-time being frontman and guitarist in a rock-band PITTA that he helped form at university. Eventually they disbanded and he joined a work-band until he auditioned for the Phantom Singer 2 competition in 2017 which was looking to form a crossover quartet. In his 3rd year with Forestella he launched his first solo single Universe, and early 2021 debuted his solo rock-band career as PITTA, resurrecting the name of his University rock-band. Also, Cho MinGyu and Ko Woorim (the bass) were polite acquaintances at Seoul National University…MinGyu was his education senior by 6 years. Both had travelled at different times overseas to compete in international singing contests. Bae Doohoon got leave from the Navy where he was doing his mandatory service in 2013 to audition for The Voice Korea 2 and he turned all 4 chairs and even made it through to the semi-finals. Bae Doohoon is still currently a musical theatre actor alongside his Forestella career and also performs in his solo capacity in many other collaborative stage performances as well.

Appreciate you reacting to Forestella. They were formed via The Phantom Singer in 2017. L to R: The basso profondo, Ko Woo-rim is the youngest,trained opera singer. Next Kang Hyung Ho (aka Pitta) has no prof training, was a chemical researcher/engineer with his own rock band on the side- counter-tenor to Soprano. Cho Mingyu is the leader, very special tenor, operatic training at same school as Ko. Far right, Bae Do-Hoon has strong musical theatre background-tenor. Together they are incredible!!! Forestella first sang their version of Bohemian Rhapsody in the KBS Immortal Songs which is a kind of remake competition music entertainment show. It made them known to the world, and later they put it in their 2nd album titled Mystique. They had concert tour under the title Mystique. This video was filmed at the Mystique encore concert, the last of the tour. I prefer their Immortal Songs video because it shows their acting in the performance better. Here it's too dark to see it well.. I recommend Forestella Queen's best songs compilation video on KBS Jeonju channel. There are 2 more Queen renditions in addition to the very first performed Bohemian Rhapsody by Forestella.

Forestella is a crossover group from Korea. They were grouped through Phantom Singer 2; an audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea and won it. However, as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world! Hence Forestella has sung great covers in various TV shows, better filter on the video to avoid copyright block. Forestella is a relatively new favourite of mine. Though I loved them, I hesitated to listen to their BoRap cover for fear that......well, you understand. But I loved their version. I think this is my favourite cover of the song by a group. By far. For comparison, my favourite version by a solo artist is by Marc Martel (who also performs it in a handful of groups). He's the guy who did the vocals for the BoRap movie and was hired by Roger Taylor to front the official Queen tribute band, Queen Extravaganza. Worth a watch even if you don't do an official reaction. He has something like 57M views.

I've always heard Bohemian Raphsody but I never felt the flood of emotions that actually existed until they sang it. I had goosebumps, I cried. I understood It. I saw them live...they sound even better live!❤

This Asian guys are crazy... Very talent... I can't forget a instrumental japan band - Asterism - music Church - 5*.

I've been a fan of Queen since BEFORE they were famous. THIS would have got Freddie's full endorsement. And, I'm going to say it... when Cho Mingyu sang "Mama just killed a man", it hit me harder than even Freddie's version of that bit. It just felt like a little boy telling his mum he had been naughty. Forestella are a complete breath of fresh air. Whilst the West has been stuck in our Hip Hop/Rap thrall 🙄 the East have been innovating. You may be interested in Chinese singer Hua Chenyu. He grew up listening to Muse, Radiohead, Linkin Park. So, Rock is his core. But he Composes and sings Rock, Rap, Reggae, Pop, SynthPop, Electronic, Ballads, Broadway, and Traditional Chinese. Think Freddie Mercury crossed with David Bowie crossed with Matt Bellamy, crossed with Steven Tyler, crossed with George Michael, crossed with..... Elton John. 😂 a good fun intro to Hua Chenyu is "Nunchucks". (You get English subtitles on some of the 2018 versions). ***I don't have "Nunchucks" in my Top 60 Hua Chenyu Performances. But a good fun intro to some of what he does.

Hard to compare, since Pentatonix is an a cappella group while Forestella is a classical crossover group, but I much prefer Forestella's version. We all have our preferences 🤷
