Thanks great tips thought about using as a picture show but for kitchen monitoring display great 👍

A couple of things not mentioned in the video: 1. I use my old OnePlus One as a hotspot device (it's only the US that throttles mobile hotspot usage AFAIK, I don't live there), secondary camera (it lacks OIS), for DriveDroid, and as something I can load apps onto without screwing up my main phone. Not only that, but the OnePlus One is relatively easy to hack to run newer Android releases (official support only went up to Android 6), so I can go all the way up to Android 9! 2. If you use Sonos, you can turn your old tablet into a controller for your system, considering that they killed off their dedicated controllers some time back.

My early 2011 i phone 4 still going ...many many apps don't work but it still makes calls ...original battery by the way

One more thing: If you have an old Samsung phone that is capable like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, you can flash a new Android version like I did and you can get all the latest and greatest features and some new apps. I went from Android 5.0 to 8.1 with dotOS. There are plenty of videos out there that teach you how to flash ROM. It's like, really easy. You just need a Windows PC/laptop to make this happen.

I was actually using the original ipad from 2010-2016 lol, also my mom was used to use her old iphone 4 as a international phone.

That s4 could easily be your daily driver. Flash TWRP, then flash LineageOS, and you've got Android 7 on it, and it runs much better, thanks to not having TouchWiz!

1st gen iPad with Jailbreaking can do a lot more, it can be a wireless Second monitor screen , i can use the old spotify on it since it has great speakers for the size, runs youtube with tweaks , and my favourite of all is emulation, i play PS1 , PSP, NES , GBA and SNES on it. plus the childhood iOS games from the 2010s, and we are only scratching the surface of what it can do.

Nice video. I'd recommend using Haven by Guardian Project instead of Manything. Haven is privacy centric so no data is sent to a third party. When Haven detects something it can send a message through SMS or Signal.
