Old Globe stages epic adaptation of Shakespeare's 'Henry VI' plays
This summer the Old Globe Theatre completes its Shakespeare canon by presenting the historical trilogy of Henry VI, reimagined as a two-part epic called Henry 6. This ambitious adaptation was conceived by artistic director Barry Edelstein. KPBS arts reporter Beth Accomando takes us behind the scenes of a recent rehearsal of the plays.

One hopes this isn't final blocking. These gestures are as offensive to some as "obscene" ones and won't be directed toward the house, yes? Lovely theatre, been many times many years ago. Be safe all.

What gestures and blocking are you referring to, please?

@@oolala53 Simply stated , to avoid misunderstanding: if my friends or myself are slogging through the bard to humour someone, again, do not have the mind control religion dictator throwing hand " crosses" at the house. The " intrigue" is predictable in style and tedious to witness enough without being driven away with unexpected, casual offensiveness. COE is not for me.
