Often times, old-fashioned kitchen tools are more decor but in this video I am sharing the ones that I actually use often or daily.

I loved this topic. Momma has all of Granny’s items... I’d love to raid her kitchen! Haha 😂. Dollar Tree had some large mouth jars about the size you’d need for your butter churn, not vintage, but may work until you find one. And it’s only a dollar! Really curious about your broom and dust pan. Thanks for continually putting out such good information.

I love stuff like this. I love straightforward and simple tools with a single purpose. I feel like everything that's being sold these days requires a charger, has 500 buttons, and is meant to do 100 different things. It seems as though in an effort to make life more efficient and streamlined, appliances have actually become unnecessarily complicated.

When you look for a jar replacement for your butter churn, the size opening matters but also the specific threads. Threading of screws and rivets are different from Germany than the west. The jar may fit but will not anchor. If you can remove the jar lid temporarily (and take an accurate measurement of allowable jar depth) take the lid to do try outs.

Hi Ximena, I think you can find those old Kaffeemühlen on ebay. Unfortunately, I have never found a replacement glass that fits. I had found one but it was off by about 0.5 cm. The measurements of the "lid" are 1 1/16" high, 4 5/8" diameter. The jar would have to be a bit more than 7" tall. How sweet of you to look, thank you 💖 ~ Anja
