Salam! I am an ex-Muslim that found Christ. On the day of judgement God will judge people based on their works, but we know that everyone has sinned. Everyone lied, stolen, lusted (Matthew 5:28). How can a sinner be justified before a holy and righteous God and avoid His wrath? The Bible gives us a clear answer. “Having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1). The person who has faith in Christ has already had judgment rendered. That person has been justified-that is, declared righteous-by God on the basis of Christ’s perfect work on his behalf. It is as if the final judgment that would have happened on Judgment Day has been rendered in advance. All who have faith in Christ are declared righteous, and their names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. They have nothing to fear on Judgment Day because their punishment has already been borne by Christ on the cross (Romans 8:1). For those who have faith in Christ, Judgment Day will be the day of final salvation when they are rescued from all of the adverse effects of sin (Malachi 4:2-3). “Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him” (Hebrews 9:27-28).

God has provided a way to verify the authenticity of the message: more than 600 prophecies given over 2000 years prior to Christ's birth were fulfilled in Jesus. Also, I would recommend comparing actions of Jesus vs Muhammad. Christ warned us about false prophets and told us to recognize them by their bad actions ("fruit") in Matthew 7:16.

@@naylisyazwina6836 ​ we believe Allah SWT is the most just and on the day of judgement justice will be served and everyone will accept his/her fate, whether Paradise or Hell. This means that muslims can indeed be punished for the sins they have committed. The difference between a muslim and a disbeliever however, is that the punishment in Hellfire for the muslim is temporary, meaning that he or she will eventually see Paradise, by the Mercy and Grace of Allah SWT. The proof for this is a narration by Muslim in his Saheeh (135) from Jaabir (may Allah be pleased with him) who sad: “A man came to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: O messenger of Allah, what are the two deeds that make entering Paradise or Hell inevitable?” The Prophet (SAW) said: “Whoever dies not associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise, and whoever dies associating anything with Allah will enter Hell.” Taking this hadith, it explains that it’s inevitable that a person will enter paradise if he dies believing in Tawheed (the oneness of Allah SWT) and that it’s inevitable that a person will spend eternity in Hell if he dies believing in shirk. And Allah SWT knows best. I ask Allah SWT to guide us, to forgive all our sins and to let us into Paradise without being put into Hellfire. We ask Allah SWT to protect us against the punishment of the Hellfire.

Let's pray hidaya for him. He's having cognitive dissonance. Christianity is his identity and you're presenting new information that Christianity is wrong. You're not challenging his religion you're challenging his identity. Alhamdulillah your mannerism was so good. At least he won't judge Islam negatively on that. Inshallah when he's alone, the words you shared with him will start ringing in his head and slowly slowly he might want to investigate about Islam down the road. May Allah make it easy for him and guide him to the straight path.
