Rode this amazing, demanding route a few days ago and just wanted to say thanks! Despite it being a beautiful summer Sunday, I didn't encounter a single other cyclist on Old Caz, and only one on the long Willow Creek climb. Really felt like an adventure despite being in an area I *thought* I knew rather well.

And you picked a good time for that water crossing.

This is a great guide covering two bucket list west county gravel segments: Old Caz and Willow Creek. Hopefully you'll come back for more, including Kruse Ranch Rd., Fish Rock, and a few options we'll keep secret for now! CoMoVa Cycling would be a great base for these rides. We'd love to host you and/or guide you on these rides.

Just rode the Old Caz part of this loop a few weeks ago. No good videos before this one of the area on KZread. Cool to see it on video 👍 found your channel looking for gravel riding near Paso as my good friend just moved down there yesterday. Anyways…keep up the good work. Awesome presentation!

Thanks. Like him, I get calls from American Express, except mine are about bills, not to do commercials...

I just wanted to say a big thank you for making this video. I did this route (plus back and forth from the Smart Train in Santa Rosa) yesterday and it was a blast. The video was super helpful . The climbs were real but the views more than made them worth it. Any other great rides in Sonoma you'd recommend?

Looks like you ride it the exact same time we did last year. I should have noted that the flow crossing was relatively low in the video. Glad you had a great ride.

Great vid and I hope to try the rote this year. I noticed on the GPS file it seems to indicate more pavement than the route in your video. Just to confirm, is the GPS file the same route you did?

I didn't realize I used the wrong link. I added the proper one to the file. Thanks for catching!

There’s a lot of private property signs on Duncan Road. Is that new or is this an “unofficial” route? 😂

We didn't see that when we rode. Came across someone working a bulldozer and he didn't seem to mind.

Have you done the loop up Pine Flat to Geyserville? I've only ever been up Pine flat on a road bike but thought those gravel roads going north looked good. This was about 10 years ago so...
