For the cover you can use fl studio trial (which is unlimited but you can't open you saved projects) you can download the sforzando plugin, lord x and boyfriend sf2/chromatics and a midi/flp, sister (the creator if the og song) probably published the flp

Amazing sprite work. If you ever decide to make this into a full cover with Lord X vocals and possibly replace some more Mario sound effects, like the coin sound effects with a ring sound effect, and MX voice lines with Lord X's, I would love to see it. The sprite work in this is phenomenal- from the way Sonic's eyes look glazed over before the transformation to the transition to Lord X. Really good stuff! 👌

Looking back on this after our one just came out, wow the difference is night and day, you’ve improved so much!

THIS IS SO GOOD, THOSE TRANSITION SPRITES LOOK AMAZING, those big ass sprites also look incredible, And that ring at the end is golden. So fuckin' good

the second phase idle sprites of lord x are great, u really gave the feeling that he was not supposed to be there

Why does lord x jump when he is flying

Doesn't need a cover. This fits well. The the only thing I would adjust is the charting as it's somewhat off from the actual chart. Other than that, this works well. No vocal changes needed besides one voice line so it would match the you're too slow text

I honestly just like how smooth that head spin was.

This is completely amazing. The sprites are so fluid and alive, with so much detail put into every bit, the destroyed remains of Motobugs BF jump over the spikes, along with how Lord X knocks the spikes out of the way. The first phase of sonic, where he's standing completely still gives off some "hey, something wrong here" vibes, and it works really well! Then the part where he comes to reveal himself as Lord X, but still not chasing gives off some really REALLY eerie vibes. Then the laughing and chasing, it's just amazing! Although, while I do think the idle sprites for Lord X chasing could be a bit better, everything else is smooth! Also, dunno if anyone else saw, but I really like how after Lord X turns big when he goes back to chasing, he has a mildly annoyed look on his face. Might make a cover based on this

I like how squishy boyfriend's animations are and how angry his is Lord x's head turn in his disguise is also 👌 this is so unbelievably cool

Those genesis Bf Sprites look so detailed. I love it

I adore how when it starts off as normal Sonic it's almost as if it's actually Sonic but the movements are just slightly not sonic like (Not enough movement on the arms) Showing how he can't fully pull off a truly convincing Sonic before slowly showing his true form

yo thanks m8, about bf jump, i tried to find a 1 frame jump that could fit in this style and i remebered that in the prototype of Sonic 1, sonic would have a mario like jump for his victory at the end of the level. So it technically kinda fit? idk what else i could have use

@@anothernormalperson069 It fits imo, since BF is a human and can't roll like other anthropomorphic animals here does easily Plus another suggestion is that I feel like Lord X doesn't need to jump since in the PC Port or any other exe game, the exes aren't jumping but just fly like Saiyans, and I guess the spikes and the pits won't affect them that much

The work looks fantastic but I do have something to suggest. Maybe you should make the camera look accurate to how the camera is positioned in the Classic Sonic games so we can take a look at the surroudings around Sonic, who isn't too close to the screen. SMB Funk Mix does just that since it's based off of the original Super Mario Bros.

LONG LOOP OF EDITING THE OFFSETS, RECOMPILING THE GAME, SELECTING THE SONG, AND THEN WAITING UNTIL X POINT IN THE SONG HAPPENS TO SEE IF YOUR SPRITES WERE CORRECTLY OFFSETTED. IT TOOK ME 5 HOURS TO FIX THE OFFSETS IN MY COVER

This is fuckin awesome and I love the sprites in here but I honestly feel like it's fuckin hard to see what is going on, the background have lots of different colors so the arrows get hard to read that combined with BF jumping make this hell, maybe make him just run? Maybe toning it down on the arrow colors? I don't know but other than that this is a very good job!
