Baikundo's aroma production is typical of Japanese incense, light. It lets you relax to tune in your senses, wants you to hear the aroma and not just smell. Nippon Kodo on the other hand leans closer toward a more traditional Indian way of presenting aromas, heavy and intense which I do believe the western culture is more entuned to. I tried Nippon Kodo Kayuragi (aloeswood) and a sharp citrus almost borderline sour note hits my nose just before I exhale from meditating. While I get this, everyone around me doesn't. I do have a very sensitive sense of smell tho. And yes, japanincense online store can be very confusing to shop. Best way to approach is to do research to know what you want (house and line) and then use the search option in japanincense. Keep up the awesome reviews!

Try Reiryo Koh next. If you like Kyonishiki you'll love it. Kudos to tsuzumist for recommending it in a video of his!

Agree 💯 it’s a beautiful autumnal incense with decent strength too,and a huge bargain in the large box.Gyukoshodo Kojurin is a beautiful soft powdery amber and sandalwood blend that I absolutely love, also strong enough to fill a small room with such a peaceful fragrance.Jinko Kojurin is also beautiful with a beautiful musk and oud combination,if you love the kunmeido I think you will find it similar but unique and also a bargain for the quality.✨🕊

I use a lot of Indian incense. Tried one Tibet incense that started with a p and it was terrible. What makes Japanese different than Indian? I love Indian perfumey natural incense
