    Hi, I just found your channel while looking up how to use Olaplex. I am so glad I found you. All the other youtubers have to dance or perform or tell their hair story before giving you quality information..So I thank you for getting to the point. I have a pixie cut relaxed hair so I don’t need the full application. My question is, what would be the water ratio be for 1/8 of the Olaplex #1? Thank you in advance for responding.

    The Olaplex says it is better to remove all the silicones from the hair before the treatment. So if anybody is using shampoo with silicones, or conditioner or mask, the ingredients of olaplex will not be able to penetrate the hair properly

    Yes you need a non residual shampoo to flush it out. Then comb your hair out after squeezing out excess water. Then do the treatment, I may suggest a little bit longer than what he suggests. And, he didn't give the 4 in 1 because that's apart of their professional treatment. And, should be using 6 and 7

    I use it on my clients every time they come in (whether or not they have colored or non colored hair) which is about about every 4-6 weeks. If your hair is damaged you could potentially use it once a week. That's a great question, you just inspired me to make a video about this, give me a week...or two....:)

    Will Olaplex fade my fashion color? When rinsing out #2 does it need to be shampoo or can it be a cleansing conditioner? Can I use purple shampoo to rinse it out?

  • @nayahri

    @nayahri

    5 жыл бұрын

    Janice Tomas Since Olaplex was designed specifically for color treated hair, the answer is no, it will not fade out your hair any faster when used as a stand alone treatment. Olaplex needs to be shampooed out, a co-wash cream would not efficiently remove it from your hair. Olaplex has now released no 4 and no 5, which is shampoo and conditioner so that would be highly recommended to use. If you prefer to use a purple shampoo instead, just make sure it is a sulfate-free one, otherwise it would defeat the purpose of even doing this treatment.
