Chaii. This is mind-blowing. Thank you for these amazing words. I'm a graduate of a bachelors degree in Nursing science and technology but also gifted in doing hair from birth. I came to China hoping to do masters but couldn't afford fees for the master program after learning the Chinese language for about 2 years and also looking for a scholarship but my parents were poor and were expecting from me. I will do hair for my school mates to feed and borrow to add and pay for my school fees in China. I was leaving in a terrible condition. So after about 2 years, of studying Chinese language and no scholarship. I quit school and started teaching and decided to invest in my skills as a hair stylist. I cut my hair and went natural, I started learning online and practising on myself. Had as many setbacks as possible and lost money but didn't give up. Now I have been able to save up and open a beauty parlour for hairstyling, nails, makeup and facials and massage. Not complete yet. I have only hair styling, nails and make up for now but my goal is to grow to a cosmetology school. I did all these investments without my parents knowledge because I just introduced as a suggestion to my father one day, he said, God forbid, how can a Degree holder be a common salon girl and that broke me and got me to start thinking but I made up my mind to go ahead with my plans without their knowledge. No, they don't see from my perspective. I'm planning on enrolling to study and be a skin aesthetician and add to one of the subjects in my beauty school curriculum. I will be going home soon to build my brand and company. I know so many people will be disappointed that I travelled abroad and came back to be a salon girl lol. That wouldn't move me. I will shock them, they don't know, I travelled abroad and came back to open a cosmetology school that I will even admit and employ their children in the future 😜😜😜 All this is to say, they are some plans you have that you don't need to tell anybody. Silently do them and let them see the results and never you give up. Take every opportunity you have to learn something. I was in the university studying nursing and doing my friends hair for free which I really suck at it. Then after university, I was job hunting but spend my time in the salon helping out for free because it was my passion. Never knew God is set to a place where I will do it and be paid. Then forces on studying Chinese language and everybody was saying, I'm crazy. What am I going to do with the Chinese language if I don't have the opportunity to study a major course but God use my Chinese language to make me to easily have business deals? And also learn a lot by communicating with my boss and others around me in Chinese. They introduced me to good Chinese, Japanese and Korean brands of salon products and things needed for the cosmetology school. So don't take any opportunity for granted. Don't be lazy. I used to work a 12 to 7 job ( I work from Monday to Monday ) and will stay up all night doing research concerning my objectives. Sleepless but thanks God for taking me this far. I'm on my way of success 📈 📈 💪💪💪💪💪
