Jeff is on another level of course but I must say I am really liking Ola's lead playing these days. His phrasing and note selection is on point.

This gives me Spice Dealer vibes. When Kieth Merrow released the video I watched the Jeff loomis is solo a million times. The sweeps in this one are some of the most brutal I have ever heard.

Jeff's intro up into this up to the wicked pinch hits like a truck....and then he goes all mindblowing Jeff on us. I usually have to go back and repeat that section almost every listen

That last riff is abundant in mass...

When I first heard this song on the album I was like "Ola got this good at sweep picking?!!!". Now I know the truth lol.

My definitions of "badass" have been updated: 1. Badass tune 2. The most badass Solar I've ever seen 3. Delta + Jeff You, sir Englund, are doing this right.

Ola, Delta and Jeff Loomis. That's a trio of pure joy right there. Sounds massive ❤🤘

JL, Ola and Devin doing their own thing with all either having or about to have new albums coming out and then let them do covers of Nevermore on a Encore collab. That would be an awesome tour and an awesome collaboration doing a couple of covers and if all works well take a good hard look on Nevermore returning.

And if not that Devin, Ola and Jeff Loomis doing something together period. They can all play and all write. Devin ultimately handles vocals, Jeff and Ola doing guitars and primary righting, with a little input from Devin and whomever the Bassist is. Jeff as lead guitar with a some Ola a second lead here and there. They can even do some 4 peace guitar work which is very rare in Metal but with three good guitarists and one virtuoso? Plus a beast bassist? The Drummer will have to be well picked!

Jesus, when I haven't listened to Nevermore in a while, I forget how phenomenal Jeff is. Holy smokes.

I wish I had anything remotely intelligent to say after this but it completely melted my brain. It's like you wanted to write the sequel to Dead Heart in a Dead World - pulled it off - then you asked Jeff to bottle his playing in one solo and here we are. You and Delta are an absolute force. Shit.

This song is like some sort of a "dream" for me. Two of my favorite "newish" guitarists. I know they've both been around for years, but I meant in comparison to guitarists from my youth, like Gary Moore, Randy Rhoads, Ritchie Blackmore, Dave Murray, Michael Schenker, Glenn Tipton, Alex Lifeson, Ace Frehley, Glen Buxton, Brian May, David Gilmour and Jeff Beck are some of my top faves of the "earlier era" I meant, mainly spanning the '70s and '80s. I must say, the drummer/ninja on this track, Uli "Delta Empire" Kusch, who played in Helloween, Masterplan and Gamma Ray, holds his own...and is equally amazing. I hope to hear more from Ola, and his incredible solo work, for years to come!!!

@@DruNature Ola has a new album and several others (and bands Feared and The Haunted. I'm not really familiar with Delta (wow, he is amazing), Jeff Loomis is Nevermore and Arch Enemy.

I have yet to see any performance involving Delta that is anything less than phenomenal. Then Jeff Loomis comes in and opens an inter-dimensional portal… holy shit! Riffs and tones are sick as always and continue to inspire me to keep pushing forward creatively. Good shit 🤘🏻

Jeff Loomis's guitar solo just blows me away in amazement. Glad we get to see that as well as Delta doing his drumming skills for Ola.

I think that the most impressive aspect of Jeff Loomis' playing is his vibrato.. Truly unique!

Have to say - that particular Solar is THE Ola Englund signature guitar. That one absolutely suits you.

This sounds like a Loomis song.. lots of influence and wow Ola that first solo by you, I coulda swore was Loomis when I heard it on the track. Well done overall!

The drummer is fucking insane! He is so groovy and vibey I'm totally vibing man! The real drummer gives the song so much life! And Ola man, you can play dude! You never really show off during your amp tests. You should do that!

He's been using Strats a bunch since his Schecter deal has been over. You can find a bunch of videos/lives from him using it. He's always been an Yngwie fan, so I'm not surprised he had a love for Strat shred ;)

First time I've seen Jeff play a Strat and it's with Ola 🤘🤘.

That solo section at 210 211 is 1 of greatest fill riffs I’ve ever heard!. I think Jeff and Mr Rhodes would have made a great duo. . Thanks Ola for these tracks. Really make my days happier that people like yourselves are still dreaming big.

It’s a great record with a lot of changes and some unexpected directions that I just loved. I've been busy and out of it for a while, but this is quickly becoming my favorite Ola Englund track. This track doesn't need to have Jeff Loomis on it to be great, but it sure is sweet icing on a fat ass cake. Yes, Ola is that goofy KZreadr that everyone loves, but songs like this show just how damn talented he is as a songwriter, crafter, and musician. Congratulations @Ola Englund! Also have to mention just how good Delta is. He doesn't overplay, but knows when to put in flourishes. There is no other word for his playing other than 'perfect'.

Sick guitar ! Looks like a Viking warship! Jeff Loomis is awesome since Nevermore. I saw him live in 2019 while he was playing with Arch Enemy touring with Amon Amarth, At The Gates, and Grand Magus.
