As I was watching this video I suddenly realized that I had a big old smile on my face.😊 I miss real country music like this and Dolly, Reba and Vince are the real deal.

I always think of when Reba lost most of her band in a plane crash. Reba wrote in her book and mentioned in at least one interview how certain people reached out to her with love and support. Vince Gill said, "What do you need? I'll play guitar for you." Dolly Parton offered Reba her band. These are all amazing people.

While those pop starts come and go, these country singers are certainly stayers....but then country music stars actually sing...there is the difference...lol. And you can understand the lyrics too...sounds like a dinosaur statement that mum and dad used to say about my fave pop singers in the 60's, but it is true. You can put the country music itself into an evergreen status. Now those fave 60's songs are in the evergreen department too. Beatles, Stones etc. Even mum and dad got to like the Beatles...lol.

Go to Dollywood when she is there. There is a GREAT chance you will,ESPECIALLY if you get her attention. She is a LEGEND that is as nice as her LEGEND! SHE IS SOOOO DOWN TO EARTH AND WILL DO ANYTHING FOR HER FANS IF SHE HAS TIME! I KNOW this from experience.

I had thought about doing that but when I found out it was over six hundred miles from here, I quickly changed my mind. She has a Dixie Stampede in Branson, which is three hours from me, but I have called them and they said they were not allowed to tell when she was going to be there, which I can understand, because of crowds and security. She is probably not there very often, or may never be there. I don't know anything else to do. I wrote once and asked them where could I write to her to make sure she got it. They sent me the address, and I wrote but never heard back. That has been many years ago. I don't remember what I wrote, but I think it was probably about meeting her. I may try that again.
