KZread does not always show when my subscribed channels upload. This is cool although the chick’s voice is annoying. They seem interested in rock and coral. There was one thing that looked like a sea snake and they ignored it. Probably not a snake but still.

The dives often have a specific purpose and the team consists of certain scientists and experts. This dive was all about the sinkhole. Geologists look at the composition of the ocean floor, other scientists (both on the Okeanos and on the mainland) have more knowledge of marine life, shipwrecks or WWII planes and submarines. You can't expect they mention every species they see. Sometimes they ignore animals they have seen earlier during that dive. It was probably a Cutthroat eel. As far as I know, no snakes live deeper than 150 m. This dive was 822 - 870 meters.

@@2011ACVVV I sort of suspected that they could not have been snakes because they are not found where the vessel was. Wrong ocean. And coral is an important species probably for ocean health.
