Game ball goes to dort, his defense won the game. The future hinges on who can adjust. The rust was real and cant expect to win playing ball like this. Great win in the trenches.

True, but they will adjust. Ingram will turn failures into assists. Will we shoot better or still play tight? Honestly idk how we respond. We are extremely lucky to give up that many second chance points, shoot that poorly from 3 and win. Small ball style requires efficiency. Better play is required.

@@TexanByNature88 oh that almost impossible to forecast. The problem with a driving and kicking team is the player must make shots. I think one other problem was the second chance points and playing j will and chet together at crunch time would have helped that. But if we make 5 more 3’s then it’s irrelevant. Obviously the coach is sticking with our style of play and he maybe right. Shooting 3’s has to be extremely accurate. Any pressure in the mind can cause a miss. Mental toughness with confidence is the approach. Hopefully the jitters are over and we make a better percentage.

@@TexanByNature88 the reason no one gives us a chance is because of this. Its easy to make a 5’ putt. But a 5’ putt for millions of dollars is very different. To shoot a 3 successfully, one has to have calm nerves like practice. This is the unanswered question with the thunder. Can we deal with the pressure? If i was the coach, we would be running sprints before the game and hard. Sure the downside is tired players but it makes the muscles override the nerves. Tense nerves affects the muscles. We are not far off and hopefully we find success. Usually shai can relieve some stress, but they have the wall against him. They are giving up things to do this and other play makers gotta step up. I think Wiggins can. We can’t lose game 2, its a must win.

Not going for rebounds may be part of the reason we have 57 wins. Clearly, we don’t need to do that. We get down the court fast, set up, and create turnovers.

Everyone seems to be tired!! NOP Ingram was 😴, our players seem sleepy, and I think I even heard a reporter snoring. Have a good night rest everyone!! 😊 It was a fun game tonight. Loved OKC's passing, blocking, and defense. Playoff Dort ❤😊 made the game extra special. I think the rule change has helped Dort and his defensive game. Love watching him play. Also, the bench players were awesome.

Shai is different in a good way. He is very well spoken which is also a credit to his game. His demeanor on and off the court is such a calmness, that why he hit the most difficult shot and acts like it's another in Park. @layback76 another thing too is I love how our fan base is being cool and patient with the team. We understand they're young and they will make mistakes. It's their first time together and a few their 1st season. I got us going to the finals honestly because we are that good and the pelicans are the best team for us to experience the playoffs and learn from some mistakes and grow for the next round.

They going to be better, the whole squad going to watch the tape. Coach will be better.

Rotations didn’t match the play. J will was good on val, wallace, big will and wiggins went 50, 50 and 100% on 3’s. I was thinking that j will and chet would close the game. Nope. Mark stayed with his usual rotation. 🤷🤷

Yeah man got the dub. Playoff nervousness was in full effect but we played horrible and won. They will be ready to roll next game I still see a sweep regardless of how close the game was.
