Kobe is hardest working, most driven, determined player to ever lace up basketball shoes. He got the most possible out of himself and showed what one could do if you push yourself. He didn’t have giant hands and natural leaping ability like MJ or VC. He wasn’t 6’8 250 lbs with that jumping ability like LeBron. He was a student of the game, an isolated deadly assassin who was never given his just due but always feared by his opponents. MVPs are voted by the media who by and large didn’t like his stoic demeanor. His first year stats were stunted due to playing for a coach who didn’t play rookies. His last few years stats were stunted due to injuries because he pushed himself through everything and never gave excuses. He was a winner and a champion with the heart of a fucking Lion. Put some respect on Kobe Bryant’s name.

MJ did more in only 15 seasons vs lebron 21 seasons MJ was put at pg for 24 games and he averaged 30 points 11 assists and 9 boards which is on Lebrons level which goes to show that if he really wanted to he could’ve been just as great of an all around player as Lebron People say lebron carried his teams and Jordan had pippen. But then that would make dirk and Hakeem better because they had to carry and they won. When lebron carried he didn’t win. When lebron was in the finals with a good team people won on his watch. When Mj has a good team with Scottie NOBODY won on his watch Mj had the most important shot in nba history with the game 6 buzzer beater and 2nd three peat in an 8 year span In the playoffs Lebron played 33 more games then Jordan and only scored 8 more points Lebron has had more all stars on his team Lebron left Cleveland to join the heat with Dwayne wade and Chris Bosh while Mj didn’t leave the bulls even when he has the opportunity to. Lebron needs better teammates to win. He needed players from the top ten of the league to get a ring. HE NEEDED A SUPERTEAM. Rodman wasn’t a superstar Jordan was the only player other then Wilt to score over 3000 points in a season Mj averaged 37 points in a season Mj got defensive player of the year while averaging 35 PPG Lebrons field goal percentage mainly comes from him doing layups and not shooting so he can’t be called more efficient in shooting Mj was scoring 3000 in a season from mostly mid ranges and not 3s which makes him a better scorer People like curry take 21 threes in a game. Mj only hit 12 threes when he was averaging 37 PPG which shows that even tho he was scoring twos mostly, he was still scoring more then lebron LEBUM HAS BEEN PLAYING 21 SEASONS AND JORDAN HAD PLAYED 15 SEASONS NOT INCLUDING HIS MAJOR INJURIES AND RETIREMENT Lebron has the most turnovers in the finals. Mj does indeed have a left hand. People cherry pick clips of Mj lowlights to make him look bad. Even is he didnt use his left he still scored 3047 pts in a season only shooting 13 threes and avg 37 ppg with almost 6 assists Jordan has 10 scoring titles Jordan has the most efficiency with scoring left in the whole NBA Jordan -Leading record in points scored 11 times -highest scoring average of 30.2 ppg -Most points ever scored in a playoff game -Only player to ever win MVP, scoring title, and first team all defense, nba championship in the same season and he did that 4 times -Highest PPG for DPOY with 35 PPG in 1988 -Nba scoring title and championship in the same season 6 times -Nba record 32.6 PPG highest PPG average in championship season 1993 -1988 Jordan was the first player in nba history to score 50 points back to back during the playoffs Lebron has played way longer than MJ and still hasn’t done more than him. Jordan never went on a 3 game loosing streak for 8 year straight Mj is the greatest mid range shooter of all time MJ had better one on one defense but Lebron has better Chase down blocks Where does Kobe even come into the argument, he has the most missed shots in the nba, passes less, has a worse mid range then Mj and less rings

Sir, I am 100% Bron's fan, but there is no way you put him over MJ. I respect Bron's endurance, but MJ was another type of beast man. I'm not even talking about his winning accolades, because then people will start jumping around saying that Horry or Russell won more titles than he did. MJ led the league 4 times, he's a top scorer in a single season with +3000 pts, and he literally was one of the first guards to win a DPOY. He was the most well rounded player in the league. So it's easy for me to put MJ over Bron or Kobe every day of the week.

Pure skill wise Kobe might have been better than MJ, but just like SGA said, if we consider 'competitive nature, championships...' even the way MJ repeated the three-peat... I mean, MJ is the goat.

Mike is more athletic than Kobe. That's pretty easily observed. Give Kobe props, and be a fan, but at least get the basics straight. You can say Kobe had a lot of skill relative to Jordan for various reasons, and it's a good discussion, but steroids implies athleticism IMO. Kd is insanely great, but he can't necessarily do everything Steph can do. I feel like these convos are always dumbed down, and that's the sad part.
