As a childcare provider, I’m a mandatory reporter and trained in recognizing child abuse and neglect, and that little girl’s answers about her mother’s boyfriend is a HUGE red flag. I would be keeping a very close eye on that little girl for any signs of distress. I would be writing down any and everything she said about it and any odd behavior I notice, and if ANYTHING slightly out of place happened, CPS would be called immediately.

My heart broke when I heard little Alaya's voice saying that the boyfriend question made her head feel crazy. That's not something that should be asked of a child, especially for the whole world to see.

It really seems like kyra wants to spend all of her money on herself and making herself look good in getting whatever she wants while Oscar wants to give his children experiences. Like he's willing to live in a van so that his kids can see the world. I think the only reason he wants to downsize and spend less money is literally so that he can take his kids on vacations to see the world and I'm all for it! Giving your kids an experience over stuff is amazing. He really does seem like a great dad

My parents are more like Oscar and I’m so, so grateful for it. They could afford to own shiny expensive cars (my dad does anyway but the rest of us don’t) and have a nice custom home but they chose a middle-class home and to keep perfectly good used cars so that way my sister and I got big Christmas’s and got to go on vacations. Having a cheap-er but stable lifestyle so you can give your kids good experiences is *so* much more important than having the shiniest and best things.

Kyra's lifestyle has not changed at all. She didn't have to downsize or get rid of anything. Oscar had to sell his truck, get rid of his workout set AND downsize. She didn't even help him move. She is such a selfish person.

If you watched both of their videos Oscar wanted to get rid of the truck since he didn’t have a need for it and him downsizing Is for him because like he has said before he’s not going to be in Utah he’s only having a place for the kids he wants to travel and possibly have another place somewhere else he also didn’t need help moving he had his family and didn’t want the help from her I’m not siding on either but he’s choosing what he wants to do and hes made that clear

Oscar is 100% responsible for whatever financial security they currently have. If you watch even their earliest videos when they were broke teenagers, he was talking about saving for the future. He made her buy that van with “her own” money - cash - I believe, because it wasn’t a necessity and he wasn’t taking on the debt for it. He had them pay off massive chunks of debt at least a couple of times because he wanted to at least have a home free and clear if KZread ended tomorrow. He’s pretty smart, financially.

The boyfriend part broke my heart. Alya doesn't have the ability to express how she really feels. No positive words.

I would never help an ex move if the majority of what needed to be moved was theirs, but the fact that she probably cleaned nothing when she took everything AND probably didn’t clean when the house was empty and getting ready to be given to the buyers, says a lot about her as a person.

Sad to admit that I watched okbaby for years when I was younger (before I was a mom and before I realized the harm of family vlogging) - so I can tell you this: Oscar was ALWAYS the frugal one. It was always a point that caused tension and arguments between them. They’ve admitted to that several times over the years. So. Yet again. I want to just say: GO OSCAR.

when she said "it makes me feel crazy in my head" I literally cringed. Poor kid. I remember saying and feeling like that as a child when my parents got divorced and asked me questions about eachother or their boyfriend or girlfirend.....ugh it was the worst.

So a few weeks back I was bored while it was slow at work, I looked up this crew on Facebook. It's crazy that we snark on this but it hit me wow these are real people.. Preston's ex-wife / Kyra's former friend had pics going back years ago, like prom pics with Preston.. family holiday pics with him and their families.. this is real life.. she actually impacted the lives of not only those 4 but their families, and her kids. Just hits different after seeing it. Very sad. And she is GROSS AF!!!! Ok deep breath time!!

That was so inappropriate. She used her daughter AFTER ALLLLL THE QUESTIONS AND SPECULATIONS, After her saying “ I WILL TALK ABOUT IT WHEN I WANT “. She couldn’t even do it herself . I wonder if they didn’t WANT to go with her while he packed and moved… he involves them in everything and makes all these things fun with him, while I’m sure when she was moving she told them to go away, get out of her way, etc. and he just makes the most boring tasks so amazing and fun. I still think about that time he was dropping the kids off with Kyra when she was living at the townhouse and the kids (especially alaya) did NOT want to go with her, they wanted to stay with their dad.

Yes, she wants him to cry and plead for her back. Just like in the beginning of their break up when he seemed upset and she seemed like she didn’t care and was making weird sexual type of remarks to piss him off. Very shitty to not have her take the kids while he didn’t have heat. One night years ago before my son was born, my husband and I lost power in our apartment and it was freezing. He asked my step daughter’s mother if she could take her (we lived 7 mins from each other) ONE night so she can sleep in a warm home. She ignored him. People are sick and uncaring parents 100%. They want “their” time even if it means making their kids uncomfortable

It seems like Kyra took all the important and useful things out of the house to begin with and left a bunch of trash and useless things for Oscar to live with when she moved, which is why moving was so hard and stressful for him. He had nothing to move but so much to get rid of at the same time

My theory is Kyra is going to get pregnant again so that she gets views and her plan is to try and live off KZread and exploit her kids for money (like she has been) because she has no education and probably has only had one real job as a teenager in her life and with her lifestyle, couldn’t survive on minimum wage. Oscar might get a regular 9 to 5 job and do content on the side, and I feel like his videos will be centered around traveling and adventures and not exploiting his kids. I feel like Oscar might have savings and he’ll continue to be careful with the money and no blow it all like Kyra. Kyra must be scared secretly about what her life is going to turn out to be

I was one of the people who went to their “estate sale” and there was a lot to clean.. all of the kids were there with oscar. I felt so bad because he was the only one watching them while packing and dealing with buyers at the same time. I didnt even know they were youtubers until now.

My God, there’s so much wrong here. The biggest and most egregious is that she’s already brought a boyfriend into the lives of her children 😳 This will profoundly impact who these kids are. Bringing the bf around these kids at all but especially so soon after the break up is hurtful and damaging in ways Kyra is too immature and selfish to realize. These kids are still processing the break up of their parents which takes a massive emotional toll and changes who they are. Adding the BF to this hurts their hearts, impacts their self esteem (for YEARS to come) and forces them to question their stability and their place in this world, especially in their family. This woman is thinking nothing of these kids and it’s heartbreaking.

This is going to sounds sad and awful but Kyra is LITERALLY my mother to a T! I am 25 and have 3 kids of my own now. My mother picked men repeatedly over us, we were never a priority, only a problem and something In the way of her freedom. Spent all of her money on her nails, hair, clothes, going out. I had to wear pajamas all through high school, and she ended up giving up custody to her ex husband for her last two children instead of raising them. It’s heartbreaking, her kids will realize all of it for what it is one day, and it’ll all be on the internet for reference as well. So so SO sad. I feel for her babies, they are great kids. So glad they have Oscar as a dad, he is a really amazing guy/father ❤️

Used child support growing up to buy herself new clothes for her dates while we wore old clothes & my brothers hand-me-downs. I 1000% understand how that feels. Oscar has always been good at being frugral and budgeting, in a sense. Especially when they were young and didn’t have much. I have a sense that with the new circumstances and opportunity, he’s taking advantage of it and having a lifestyle that’s more meaningful now. I could imagine him thinking “why have a huge house and all these bills when I only have kids half the time?”

I don’t know too much about this family besides what Josh has shown us, but Oscar seems like a really good guy. Whenever he is ready I hope he finds himself a woman that will truly appreciate him for who he is. Edit- omg… seeing that little girl take a video like her mother breaks my heart. That’s NOT normal!!!

As someone who used to watch all of their videos. Oscar is definitely more concerned about money and their future. He was always trying to save money wouldn’t want kyra to spend money on dumb things. He was also really concerned about paying off all of their debt and building a savings. I know he talked about how he was doing the Dave Ramsey financial stuff. So I think that he definitely put a lot of money aside and invested it being a part of the process. So Kyra definitely lucked out that Oscar was concerned about their future and put a lot of money aside.

How did Kyra have her ex and her kids in a place with no heat??? Could never be me! That's insane and so sad!

Josh, I just watched the video you made about the loss of your mom. I am sobbing. I am so glad that you found it in your heart to forgive her. You are an amazing human! She would be so so proud of you!

Oscar was in charge of their finances because she had mishandled really bad before. And they would argue about her wanting to buy things and he wouldn’t let her. So yes I think they are somewhat financially ok because of him. But I do see her continuing to spend her money and struggle. While he lives comfortably. Specially since Preston is mooching off of her.

Honestly, I think the daughter's comments point to a household of yelling, throwing things, and hectic vibes.

As a mother, I would NEVER allow for my daughter to be in a house that has no heat or gas. I think Oscar is to blame here as well because he should of had it figured out before packing his shit and taking his kids to a heatless/godless home. Even then though, as a mom I would intervene and tell my husband (ex I guess if we were split up) like figure your shit out and in the meantime I will take car of our kids. Like cmon how fucking careless is this girl? So disgusting. She'd rather have her space with her bf then have her kids warm 🤦‍♀️ like what? Disgusting.

I don’t think staying in an apartment at 60 degrees for a night or so is bad parenting. The videos I’ve seen him sharing of his kids seems really wholesome and just them playing and being silly and laughing. He also doesn’t pretend he does it all on his own. He has a lot of family and friends supporting him and he shows them in the video which is more realistic. He would probably be more stressed out and less super dad if he didn’t have help. I do think he’s good enough at making videos that he doesn’t need to include his kids though.

@@calliecollins7702 for a day or two? I’m an esthetician usually we don’t recommended that much bathing for small children unless it’s just water or something crazy mild on skin.

@@amybeccaburris4383 no, personally, not even that. Little children need hot water to get washed up. Even hands and face they hate to have cleaned with cold baby wipes. I also shower every day. Anyone in diapers I wouldn't take chances on; there have been some bad diapers to where a bath was really what was needed. I remember our daycare also saying today's definitely a bath day, in case you hadn't planned on it. I don't wash dishes in cold water either.
