Honest opinion: Sensational needs to stop calling it "What Lace" because its annoying. That grey lace does not match their consumers skin tone. Even if the person is lighter in complexion, the lace is still extremely visible, detectable, and noticeable. The wig became adorable after all the slaying (work) you put into it. However that "what lace" is a turn off. Its a 5 out of 10, maybe 6, due to the lace.

Hey babe! I love and def agree with YOU! Honestly my girl Gladys (youtube: isthatyourhair) literally made a video about this! Don’t go up on prices if the quality (shedding/tangling factor, lace coloring, etc) is trash and remains the same. I love changing a unit from unwearable to wearable for my cuties on a budget. The tint of the lace turned me off, but once I put that makeup on. It was a go! Lol. But I do agree with you! Thank you for sharing my love!

I think these are meant to be customizable. Just customize the wig to your liking that works for you and your scalp. Also this is a you get what you pay for situations ad well and even with expensive wigs people still like to customize it.

I have never worn a wig..ever and I bought her from my local beauty supply about a month ago and the lace is actually brown but I have her in a #1 and I wear a #1b so she has just been sitting pretty on her stand just waiting for me to gather my nerves..I wish I could lighten her up though 🤔but I just love how niece is looking

Yes the lace was a weird tint. But with adding your complexion shade/pressed powder it should do the trick. I can’t wait until they make laces that fit everyone’s skin tones though!
